Love the old AA livery. It was iconic & the shiny silver fuselage & tail was unique & beautiful. Wish American had never fixed something that wasn’t broken.

I agree. The newer ones don't do it 4 me

@@troyandrew6154 I actually think their current livery is nice and clean. That said, the chrome of the old livery is classic. Wish they could've incorporated that a little bit more in a modernized design. Don't they still have a few retro liveries? And also a few ERJ's that are due to be retired somewhat soon that they haven't gotten to repainting.

Thank you for the trip report. I was so used to flying domestic TUSDFW or TUSORD, normal on S80 equipment. The first time I flew on a 777, it was like the feeling of trying to lift a huge building into the air. The Super80 hummus you to sleep and the loud fan sound of the 777 hums you to sleep. Good times, good times.

Im going to miss the mad Dog. I wish boeing uptated this airfrath and not end production. And also i wish Mcdonnell Douglas came back like in the old days i really miss this company😞. Over 10 years all the mcdonnell Douglas aircraths are going to be retired.😞

AirlineTraveller Thank you! I've actually got a ton of Maddog footage to upload so I'll be kept realatively busy with editing as well as college work lol. Glad I took the time to film so much when I wasn't in class because now I really don't have time to spot much at all. Glad you liked it my friend!

Cool! I will keep looking for more Maddog videos then! You guys are so lucky over in the US in that so many of your airlines still fly these wonderful machines. Keep it up and study hard! =D

Donna Rinaldi They age of the aircraft really doesn't matter in aviation. The MD80 is still one of the safest planes flying today.

The older proven technology is far safer just look at the crashes and subsequent grounding of the 737max as an example.
