I don’t know if you know this but, if you get Everly use to noise, like music or you guys talking as she’s going to sleep, she might sleep thru you talking/making noise after she falls asleep. You could have been paying more per litre but 1 gallon = 3.7 litres $1.50 (cad per litre) * 3.7 = $5.55/gallon (cad) $5.55 cad = 3.82 usd/gallon *approx at the time of writing

Yeah, it varies on where we are and even the day. It was 1.65 near us before this trip. But right now it is 1.42 near us. Sometimes, it gets over 2.00 a liter. It's been a bit since those days.

Definitely didn't mess up it depends on the time when and place you are getting the fuel in Canada . One week it is 1.30 a liter next week it's 2 a liter.

HINT If you cross into the USA just to pick up some mail, send him (the American) b/c every time you (the Canadian) crosses to get mail, it reduces the total amount of time you can spend in the USA in a year. I would have put in $10 or $20 of gas just to make sure I can make it to where I was going.

Yeah, we normally would, too, but I thought we could make it. Even tho the needle was close to E to had quite a bit of fuel left. It's a 21-plus gallon tank, and full was 18 gallons. Still had another 50 miles or so we could have gotten. Thanks for the heads up. Good thing Alex and Everly get up to 6 months a year in the USA.

​@timdebrine4599 the point it that anyone crossing the border needs to be checked. When we crossed and recrossed that same border in 1987, we faced the same intensive questioning. We had to pass our passports and confirm our intention. All to be expected when crossing into another country.
