Just be honest and say it’s expensive to enrich the seller😂. Like what’s so hard about saying that. Half the things you mentioned aren’t seen as work to a dog man. It’s a hobby not a chore. I like doing everything from waking up early to tend to the dogs to whelping litters.

Yeah bullies became a trend in the urban communities, now supply and demand raised them up a lot and entrepreneurs are capitalizing off it. I really doubt this guy would be doing all this for lower returns but at least he has the facilities and property to actually do this compared to some of the people you can find on youtube doing things like cramming 11 breeding adults in a tiny back yard in a city.

The truth is, the high prices are mainly because the breed is popular. Why can you get champion lines in other breeds for much cheaper than a basic bully? Do the breeders of other dog breeds not have to spend money and time to breed. I get that some bully breeders are legit and I don’t have a problem with them selling whatever they feel is warranted. I feel like it’s just the demand and market driving the prices, just saying.

Exactly. Many of the these pups being marketed for 5-20k arent worth the money if you actually see their faults up close, regardless of the bloodline. Some of them have shaky bloodlines too and one or two champions or grand champions cant fix bad breeding.

So I recently about a year ago purchase a dog in Philly in the hood and they sold me the pit for 250 but he was way too young and I still took him anyway I was still feeding him goats milk I think he was mix too because his collar look different when the sun hit it

Nah .. 3k will get you a pup off just about any big name stud. Does go up from there. But 5k isn't the floor for the breed as a whole unless it's off something special that's taking over the game. Alot of breeders are kennel blind in the bully world. And overvalue junk.

Eastern NC checking in , quality Bully XLs I got my blotched tri blue/merle male Bossy line registered w/ ABKC for $1500 from a honorable long tenured breeder. My tri fawn female was $500 from a family pet litter. Don't be pillaged by these greedy breeders chasing colors/dollars.
