Sorry, but even in Romania, one of the poorest country in EU, homeless people without insurance still get treated for free in case of an emergency. Because the law gives the right to medical treatement to everyone.

It costs more to call the landline number for ambulance from your city. You'll be liable to pay either 40% or 60% of the ambulance cost via medical aid, if your emergency is a preexisting condition. Medical Aids encourage you to call their emergency numbers which is normally available on the card. But the service is so slow though whereas landline number from the city attends to your attention quickly

In Canada (at least the last time I checked) ambulance fees are NOT covered by our Medicare. That’s why we have supplemental insurance.

Mr and Mrs D. Good video to review. You are so right. I think we all make assumptions about what life is like in the USA. I know the USA doesn't always score that great, compared to the rest of the western world, but it seriously can't be that bad. Here in Australia, we have a small 26 million people population. What that means is that opportunities can be quite limited in terms of job availability, outside of our two biggest cities, Sydney and Melbourne. The USA has so many different opportunities that we could only dream of here, and many Aussies move to the USA to setup their own businesses and take advantage of the opportunities. Like you have both said in the past, there is good and bad in every country.

The places one would be common l guess. More so because of Hollywood focusing on mainly the popular cities. On my end…my funniest experience was with an American university exchange student who showcased all the main stereotypes (he said he had thought we didn’t have modern houses. He also had packed supplements and water sterilization pills etc …granted, years later l reckon it would make a bit of sense now , if you drink tap water in Zim. And the one that really got me was…he was shocked to find out that the greenback was globally accepted as the currency standard). But l guess it was before KZbin had really taken off fully…and it didn’t help that he had never left Chicago all his life. This was his first real trip out. 😅

I doubt the Canadians said that. Trump has a 6% support in Canada and that is in Alberta. It is less now. Trudeau does have a broad bad reputation, some from his father. He still has a 67% support right now.

I'm South African. On the British one, why introduce yourself as "American" when there's North and South America. It might seem easy, obvious and quite normal for y'all, but why is there a Canadian and American when they're both in North America. And the other day when I saw the powerful kings of Africa reaction I thought you really looked like that Mansa Musa portrait🤣
