It’d have to be very Hailey driven, I think. Jeff is good B story material but his brand of stoner idiocy is mainly just saying stupid things but not doing too much. He’s the type of character in my opinion (just an opinion of course, I could be disproven) that is good to use in the occasional A story but not enough to be a lead character that has most/ every A story around him which would be problematic since he’d be the patriarch of a show around his and Hailey’s immediate family. It’d be cool to see what Seth McFarlane could come up with though!

One of the many things I love about this show is the thematic and design consistency. In this compilation, for instance, we see old Steve multiple times looking pretty much the same, even though they're different episodes and looks into the future. In fact, because of the ones that show young Steve, I have a pretty good idea in my head of the growth timeline, and roughly how he'll look in a general sense at different stages in his life.
