Yeah it's very odd because I normally wear a size 12 but I wore a size 10 in mom Jean's and even weirder I wore a size 6 skirt. I haven't fit a size 6 in years so I just think American eagles sizes are really messed up.

Lol I’m wearing that light pink striped button down shirt with the light wash distressed mom shirts right now. Personally I like to wear the shirt with just a bralette underneath and tied at the bottom. Great haul!!

THE REASON that some people must size up like 3 sizes in mom shorts, while some only size up 1, while some size down 2, while some do nothing is BODY TYPE. Not size, TYPE. She is just small everywhere, rectangle. So, because mom jeans have larger legs, she would size down, because her legs can take the smaller size, and her waist is so small it would work with any size. For people with larger thighs, they size up or keep the same size because their thighs eat up everything (lol this is me). For other people, their stomach is big with small legs. They would have to size down because their stomach takes up the room, and mom shorts have loose legs. People just big everywhere would size up for no squeezing. The end.

Sorry this is way off topic. But do princess Polly shirts run true to size? Do you go by your jean size or their size Guide? Ik on their size guide a 4 is a small. I’m a 0 in bottoms but a 0 on their shirts guide is like an xxsmall. Sorry this was kind of lengthy. 😂😂

The mom jeans and shorts usually don't have any stretch in them! But they've come out with new ones with stretch and curvy style! AE has been slowly coming out with more and more curvy style jeans and shorts!

I feel like it really depends on the size of your waist and legs because for me I do size up because I have thicker thighs and I want them a little loose but they do tend to be pretty loose on my waist because I have wider hips and a small waist. If you’re small all over and don’t have big hips or thighs and a small waist then you probably would size down so they wouldn’t be TOO baggy

I got those shorts at 5:00 and I bought them before it got warm and I was still wearing pants and then I lost weight and they don’t fit me at all :-( I look crazy every time I try to wear them. Brown beaded bag would be great for the beach... might get it for my trip this year!
