We should all note that even after all of these years of reporting on inflation, all of these Mafia State (innocuous "Deep State" for the timid) flunkies who are owned by the Mafia State while calling themselves journalists, so called, are never, ever, never allowed to mention the Office of Price Administration (OPA) system of price controls. The OPA system of price controls was very effectively used back during WW2 when it came to being able to tamp down the inflation causing greed/avarice of that era's corporate America. Despite the great success of the OPA system of price controls, it was done away with shortly after the war by that era's corrupt, incompetent Congress, just like we have today, over the objections of President Truman.

Know what comes with price controls? Shortages and then higher prices.

@@danw6014 Again, the OPA system of price controls was very effectively used during and for a short period of time after the war, so we know price controls can work, if administered honestly. In this era that I call the reality of the Equity Spending (ES) process where we now routinely electronically generate we the peoples' $s in order to meet federal expenditures, and to keep our federal government's lights on, so to speak, there is the potential for having prosperity on a scale never before experienced by our man species, and this sort of prosperity has ALWAYS triggered the inflation causing greed/avarice of those who manufacture life's essentials and without the proper type of price controls there will never be the successful implementation of this era of prosperity, but instead a greedy, avarice driven few will continue to live in extreme opulence while the masses live in want and despair. There has got to be some major changes, and price controls for life's essentials is one of the key factors while everything else is exempt.
