Great Reatoration! Here in the states those were called sad irons. Most homes had a cast iron range where they could be heated. That is a nice set with one ron being heated while the other being used. When I was little, people used them for door stops.

I didn't know there were such interesting irons, they look a bit like a cordless kettle. You did the renovations beautifully. Is nickel plating durable without electricity?

Thank you very much for your comment. I didn't test how durable the nickel plating is. But the bolt fell me to the concrete floor and nothing happend. I would try some tests after I will be at home and give you report (I am in PL now :)
