Wow, the most expensive retail prices I have seen in a long time. $200+ for 24 pack of shells and $500+ for Jester Revenge. And I just thought their wholesale side had crazy high prices but the retail is even worse. @@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics Well, if I did a store walk through I would still have to pick some fireworks up as its right in front of me. And I'm used to getting really cheap wholesale prices so maybe they are high compared to what I normally spend on similar cases from other wholesalers around me. It is nice that they have a low minimum order but I don't like stores that give you incentive to buy a lot of product from them to get a discount. As I like to shop around between 4-7 wholesalers throughout the year so I can get a nice variety of brands so I don't spend most of my $$$ on my firework stash at one location. But this is all based on my personal experience and needs but other Pyro's may be different. I'm excited to see what other content you got from this store so I will be watching to see what else you did! Also, are you going to be at Skywars again this year?

I am at the very top discount tier though. The owners and I do business together both in regards fireworks as well as the company I work for. Really great family.

Prices and inventory are rough this year. I'm glad I did my wholesale order in April. Bought a few cases of Excals and Excal Platinum from a locally owned seasonal store and called it good for the 4th. Hopefully things get back to normal for 2022.

I missed out on them last year, so I pre-ordered them this year from the store I go to in New Hampshire. I live in a lib-tard state, where fireworks are still illegal, but on the 4th of July, the local authorities let us cut loose.

What you guys have to keep in mind is this is their retail store. If you buy through their wholesale division it is on par or better than most wholesalers if you spend a lot, come back every year or know the right people to talk to. Their wholesale is also great because they let you buy individual items at wholesale.

Prices like those remind me of why people buy wholesale and order early in the year. If you wait until the 3rd week of June to start shopping, what little you can find left will be very high. I wouldn't expect next year to be much better with shipping issues either. I know several wholesalers who have multiple containers that won't arrive before the 4th. Hopefully everyone who gets burned this year will learn to start shopping MONTHS ahead for next year.

I see they use the Phantom tactic. Mark everything up super high and then give half off to those with a coupon but empty the pockets of an average consumer. $559 for a cake is nuts. You could get 3 or 4 nice OL 1/1s for that 😂

You don't need a coupon to get 50% off at Phantom; just spend $450 once, and you get 50% off which is good for 3 years last time I knew. Plus, if you're like me, you will spend $400+ quite often so that 50% pretty much becomes permanent. I know it's still a sales tactic.

In fact, they carry Brothers Max assortment, which can be had at other places for about $500 (last year anyway), but they're selling it at over $1000, and with several of Brothers products in that assortment replaced with their own. Sickening what they do in their marketing, but, they still do have many great products, especially fountains.

So, I've been in here a few times because I live nearby - and those prices are B1G1, or half off - BUT - you have to have a coupon. And I mean you HAVE TO HAVE A COUPON. And they don't allow phones in the store, so you can't just pull it up and show it to them. Honestly, it's not cool - in my opinion. So, you have to print out a coupon and bring it in to them. It's still expensive. Those prices, as well as most places in Ohio are up 30% from last year - on everything. Everything. They do normally carry a lot of great brands and have a huge selection, but you know - things are different this year. It sucks.

@@godrulztheearth A lot of that is shipping has increased too. Basic economics, supply is low, demand is high, prices increase. Demand is at an all time high, even higher than last year which broke records, but supply is super low. It's even worse for any company buying from a company here because that gets increased twice. I hate it just as much as you, but the industry has said this has been coming for months now. Some vendors were even saying buy in January before prices increase as much as 25-40%. I'm just hoping it changes in the near future.

Something to keep in mind on the pricing: 2021 prices will be up anywhere that you go by 15-50%. Transportation from the ports has been a nightmare due to lack of available transportation services. Unfortunately we’re all gonna have to bite the bullet this year, and based on what I’ve seen, you’ll be lucky in some cases to even get fireworks at all.

Your right.... that's why we love everything you do for us. You one of the originals and your words matter. Your also right when you day those stores owe you. Cause, honestly.... they do. You bring so many eye balls to their stores and future sales. Which is fine. But firework stores know that the average person don't know what's a good or bad price cause they only shop once a year and they take advantage of those people and that's the part I don't like.

Absolutely,...! An it's very needed. With the prices how they are, the more people will benefit from your video. An also help with making it more appealing/affordable to people/families to keep them in the hobby and not run them away and maybe add more to the hobby.... in a safe way of course.... can't wait for the video....!

This place makes Phantom look like a discount store 😂 Like ive seen at most 40% increase down here newr Fla and GA but lordy. Im from Ohio. Glad I dont live there anymore. Edit: By phantom I am a premier member so 50% off everything and coupons. Like tons of em.
