My journey begins with the exhilarating ride on the high-speed train from Jeddah To Medina whisking through the beautiful Saudi Arabian landscapes. The anticipation builds as I draw closer to Medina, knowing I'm about to experience something truly special.
🚖 Taxi Ride to City Center
Arriving in Medina, I hop into a taxi, weaving through the bustling streets towards the heart of the city of Madinah. The sights and sounds of Medina surround me, each moment building my anticipation for the wonders that await.
🕌 Masjid Al-Nabawi: The Prophet's Mosque
Stepping out of the taxi, I find myself in awe as I gaze upon the magnificent Masjid Al-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet's Mosque. This iconic mosque holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims around the world, as it is the final resting place of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him. Its stunning green dome and intricate architecture are a sight to behold, and I feel a sense of peace and reverence wash over me as I take my first steps towards this sacred place.
🌟 Why Medina is Special to Muslims
Medina, often referred to as the "City of the Prophet," holds immense significance in Islamic history. It was in this city that the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him migrated to from Mecca, marking the beginning of the Islamic calendar. Medina served as the first Islamic state and the Prophet's Mosque, Masjid Al-Nabawi, became the center of the Muslim community.
The Spiritual Center of Islam
Masjid Al-Nabawi, built by the Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H himself, has been expanded over the centuries and stands as a symbol of Islamic architecture and spirituality. It not only serves as a place of worship but also as a center for learning and community gathering. The mosque's beautiful courtyards, adorned with palm trees and fountains, provide a serene atmosphere for reflection and prayer.

I became a Muslim 2 years ago and my first-ever prayer in a Masjid was inside the Masjid an-Nabawi. That was in June 2024. The Friday prayer here was amazing, I could barely get a space in the courtyard outside. This November, insha'Allah, I will return to Madinah and Mecca to perform my first Umrah. In Madinah, Sultana Street is a good place to eat out at night and is beautifully lit. I had an amazing meal of Fuul with my Airbnb host in a restaurant there. Your Mecca vlogs are wonderful, by the way. You're doing a great job.

@@everforward8651 you can use the many toilets in front of the masjid to bath 24/7. All you need in Saudi Arabia is small shoulderbag with spare clothing. You sleep anytime you want and get up anytime you want to pray or just walk around
