I don't see where you believe indicate a belief in Negative Black stereotypes, and this is just a movie which is partially fiction and non fiction. Also had his picture on a 📰 cover named as "Mr Untouchable" cause he kept beating so many Murder Cases that they had to put him in the front cover to call the President's Attention which lead to build the DEA to go mainly after Drug Kingpins/Gangsters. Frank Lucas was Arrested in 75' & Nicky Barnes in 78' the 1rst case in history to have an anonymous jury,a verdict with no people in court cause of fear of everyone getting wiped up.

The actor (Roger Guenveur Smith) that played Frank Lucas's cousin is not White. He's a light-skinned African American with both parents being African American. He likely does have a higher percentage of European ancestry, but that's simply a reflection of American history, slavery, rape, interracial sex, and the 1 drop rule after the Civil War that classified people with even one ancestor of black ancestry to be Black which has centuries of bi-racial Black people being integrated into African American communities and reproducing. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-drop_rule There's a reason African Americans are a full spectrum of shades, features, and skin tones.
