Enjoyed the reaction, Blackpink is dope. Of the names you tried pronouncing at the end, all correct except Jisoo rhymes with "me too." As for writing, they have a couple songs that they've done a significant amount of writing on but otherwise, they only do a little bit or none on most of their tracks. They usually have a handful of writers on each song, I assume mostly because of what you mentioned for this one: most of their songs have a mix of 3-4 genres in them, and I think they often need different writers for each different section. The one constant is Teddy Park, their main producer and writer. Hope you do more Blackpink! But depending on your tastes, like 90% of their songs are mostly in Korean (so you'd have to focus on subtitles or fan-made lyric videos like this one). Crazy Over You is only one of like 4? that is mostly or all in English.

Yes, they do write their songs. BLACKPINK have 4 members, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo. All 4 of them can sing, dance, play instruments, and write their songs. Jennie and Lisa (the one with the bangs) are also rappers. Rosé is a Korean born in New Zealand, but live in Australia. Jennie is a Korean born in South Korea, but live in New Zealand. The Bloomberg ranking was a monthly one, so it's a bit misleading and gives potential ammo to the antis and other fandoms when used. Sadly that boy group still has a bigger fandom. BLACKPINK are the 2nd most subscribed music act on KZbin after Bieber, though you could say the boy group's label paved the way by stupidly putting all their MVs on label's channel instead of group's proving YG was smarter than other Korean labels in that sense though BP would still have more than all but the one boy group. To reactor, don't make mistake of calling BLACKPINK the female versions of said boy group or it will likely trigger many in both fandoms.
