When I was the same age I went to the American Girl Doll store with my dad when I was on vacation with just him and I and it is one of my favorite memories of the two of us. This warmed my heart seeing shay and emmi spending time together just them two. I don't do stuff like this with my dad probably bc I'm 16 but that shouldn't matter. My step-dad is my dad he's been with my mom and I since I was 2 almost 3 and I guess it's because of that we don't do things together it's just weird to me. My biological dad lives states away and I only rarely see him during the summer and I think it's also because of that we don't do stuff like that either and also whenever I do go to visit him he's always working so to see shay and emmi having fun spending time together really makes me happy❤️
