Hi It was a pleasent surprise , While its great you have taken interest in learning the language and prounouncing the words properly and that you appreciate the culture and customs which have deep meaning and purpose , on a lighter note, try loosing the accent and perfect the fluency of the language , while you are going to make an impact in the community (for brownie points) more important would be that you will feel proud about attempting to gain fluency of the language and while you do that you will realise that you would automatically have discovered the subtelity , sarcasm ,beauty and perfection of phonetics along with the prose and poetry too. Telugu is just one stream of out of many indian languages and the more you discover, you will realise there is a lot more yet to discover , dont worry all telugu people are in the same boat , as no one has perfected it yet .Any way God bless the couple and best wishes.
