I was underwhelmed by this doll initially, but I got to see her in person a couple weeks ago and WOW - she is just beautiful! I love that you offered comparisons and I specifically love that you mentioned which comparisons in the video title. Super helpful (as usual)!

That seems to be the common sentiment with this doll - underwhelmed at first but blown away after seeing her in person. Comparisons are definitely my favorite part of doing these reviews - I should go back and make sure those are listed in all of my titles if there’s room.

Thank you! Her meet outfit doesn’t do her justice at all. Putting dolls in colors that are flattering to their coloring is the way to go. Plus, natural lighting outside can’t be beat.

I absolutely love love love 125!!! I got her the same day she was released. Her hair is gorgeous right out of her hair net. I would never change her hair style as it perfect for me. Her eyes are beautiful and skin color is gorgeous too. Thank you for your beautiful video as always.

She’s really pretty! You don’t happen to have 83, do you? I have 83 and passed on Kira because they were so similar except for the curls in their wigs. I haven’t gotten to see her yet, maybe I’ll get to the store next week.

She is! Unfortunately I don’t have 83, but I will DM you a comparison picture someone else took over on AGIG. They do look similar, but the Josefina mold changes over time make them pretty distinguishable from each other.

Okay first of all YAY! I loved this video!!! I just recently went to the AG store and saw this cutie in person and WOW. I don't think I've fallen in love with a doll so quickly since I was a kid! Like others I kind of brushed her off from the pictures online at first but in person she is so so gorgeous. That picture you took with the French braids??? Oh. My. WORD! 😍😍😍 She's definitely going to be a birthday present for me and I can't wait to bring her home. I'm sure your customization will look adorable too! (P.S. if you notice the views rack up on this video it's probably just me drooling over her 😂)

She is! And yes, the Josefina mold is the most common mold used in the GOTY line now, too! It’s the new classic mold it seems. I’m not complaining though because I definitely prefer it.

That was a really good review of her. I don’t have any plans to purchase versus. I already exceeded my purchase quota this year because I didn’t think I was going to get any dolls but I ended up with three new dolls and it’s just the beginning of March lol I don’t really have an opinion about changing her eyes with Cinderella’s eyes. Honestly, I like her the way she is and if it was my doll, I would keep her that way, but you seem to know how to customize and that’s really not my thing so I’m really excited to see what you end up doing.😊

Love the video, it’s always nice to see the dolls compared to others! She is basic but she is beautiful I love the wig and any Josephina face mold I’ll always buy! Oooh are you going to film the process of eye swapping? I’ve been thinking of doing some customizations on my dolls but don’t know how to take the head off with the zip tie 😂

I absolutely will! We aren’t the best at it so I’m not sure it will be a tutorial but are starting to get more confident. I do have a video on how to change the zip tie to a neck string although I’ve since found a better way to thread the neck string through. And you can always message me for help!

As usual, I loved every bit of this. I completely agree re: the different shades in her hair. It is beautiful. Are you planning on doing a face reveal when you finish your mini me? I would love to put a face with your lovely voice. :) Does Cinderella have the darker blue eyes like Kit and Nellie? If so, I think those would look gorgeous in 125. Thanks Beth! Cinderella seems to have the blue that Courtney - not dark blue but not the old light blue. I think I may end up putting the old light blue in this girl. I likely won’t do a face reveal on here, at least not for a while, due to safety concerns I have but I may end up going to a AGP Chicago meetup one of these days 😊

Do the new Truly Me dolls have neck strings or zip ties?

They all have zip ties now. I believe they changed it due to toy safety regulations. They are pretty simple to switch out though, and I have a video on it if you need help!
