At 9:35, the reason being is that most of the indian restaurants outside india are not actually for Indians, the whole menu and taste is specifically made for the non indians or the local people of that country, even they know that an actual indian would rarely dine in there because the first thing they'd think will be that why should i pay 5x the price for half the taste of something which i can just make by myself at home, hence most of the Indian restaurants outside india focus majorly on attracting the local public who are not much familiar with the cuisine

That's not their problem. Any foreigner who visits another unknown country usually targets it's capital in hopes of finding facilities. Now in India they don't understand that New Delhi is the capital of India and not Delhi/old Delhi (which is massively polluted, badly designed and mostly populated by illegal immigrants). The incompetent govt doesn't believe in advertising the real beauty of India and at the end people who visit (or who don't visit as well) create an image of what they saw and think whole country to be as such and thus negative image is widely advertised. It's not their fault but rather ours and our government's who doesn't give a damn to what others think of India and sadly I don't think this attitude will ever go.
