If you are not married legally then you have to apply as unmarried and include all your children below the age of 21 yrs only. If you indicate separated or divorced you will be required to provide proof which you will not have since you were not legally married in the first place. Good luck!

Are you aware how the green card lottery works? You only take the chance if you process your win. If you don't then someone else gets the chance. More people win than there is enough visas for them. You can only have one green card and not two. Please watch my videos to learn more

In care of... do I put only the name of the insitutution or a person whom I want the letter or document passed on to without adding P.O BOX, or the P.O BOX of In care of..., it's what you put in address line? If the P.O. BOX is for Japan, do I just put P.O. BOX 3252, not P.O. BOX. 3252, Osaka, Japan?

They can apply but if they win they might not be able to adjust status in the USA since their status is expired. they might even be put on deportation proceedings if they go to the interview
