Years ago, I used to work at a rock club and American Headcharge opened for Static X. American Headcharge were some of the nicest musicians that I have ever met. They deserve every ounce of success. They’re great musicians and great people. I have nothing but love for them.

I saw them in NC when they opened for Static X. Was supposed to see them earlier that year in Charleston SC but I was at the venue when the guitarist died on the bus when they were gonna open for Mudvayne. Was supposed to have been my first ever concert.

@@theinfernozpw, man, I am so sorry to hear that. I was supposed to see Sepultura years ago when Max Cavalera was still in the band. His wife got into a nasty car accident in Brazil and they had to cancel dates. Shortly thereafter Max left the band.

I used to hang out with little Davey Rogers, who was the guitarist early on. Not sure if he was in the band when you ran across them. But I'm not surprised that they were nice, because Dave was. My friend group included Dave's older brother. Dave was about 13-14 at the time. We were more like 18-22. But I actually talked to Dave much more than his older brother when we hung out at his house. (Can't even remember the older brother's name.) He was so smiley and such an absolute sweety. He loved his cat. He was very often on his guitar. Nobody much paid attention to his playing, truth be told. Hope he's doing good now!
