@@vincenttodd4 It depends on what part you're from and the person you ask. Because I can say the same about Georgians. People from dade county/Miami Florida are ghetto/country as hell. People from Brodward have southern accents. Kodak Black, Robb Banks, X, Ski, Lil Pump are all new generation rappers who rep Florida and the south. they sound like it. Even older rappers like Trick Daddy, Trina and Uncle Luke represent. Florida is def the dirty south Florida has a lot of immigrants to bc they are right by the Caribbean so a lot of Haitians,Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Jamaicans live there too,but most of the actual born Americans there sound southern. It's what is great about the duality of characters in this season, Marie could very easily just allow Queenie in if she truly cared about sisterhood as a top priority but ultimately she would throw Queenie away if she wasn't useful. All of the stuff she said is true and she truly feels it, Marie stays with her people even though as an immortal she could go anywhere and be rich. A part of Queenie is that she doesn't fully feel like a part of the Coven or the Voodoo group but that ultimately the Coven at the end accepts her completely, whereas Marie is not actually a super great person. The characters are complex and it's great, we both know that Marie believes everything she says here but also that she's saying what she's saying to take advantage of Queenie's insecurity. It's also a part of why truly good characters like Cordelia shine, because a lot of other characters are morally gray.

This scene was so powerful to me as a Black man, the older generation of Black schooling the new age Black girl. Queenie tries to ware the good n ppl n would like to believe white ppl don’t care about race when the reason things happened in the past n STILL TODAY is due to their racism which is why she said “oooooh they care plenty” no matter how subtle it is, like when she was explaining her background n Madison said “is this the part where we all sing Kumbaya” or how Fiona said it was always like a 🔨 going after a nail implicating it was never really a war or fight that they were always better n more powerful, Both Fiona n Madison’s statements were very condescending. Then u have Marie a Black woman who has dealt with white ppl for centuries n tryna let her know that they haven’t changed it’s jus that we’re jus more n a politically correct society now so they can’t be as open as they were but don’t ever think that they as a whole completely changed, yous a damn fool if u believe that. U will always be “second to some pretty lil white girl”. Even Madame Delphine Lalaurie said they will never accept u she said “why cuz I’m fat” Delphine said “No cuz you Black” n that’s the realest shit ever, SHE KNOW, SHE KNOW HER PEOPLE! U can call Delphine a lot of things but she was always honest. That’s why Queenie left the coven, she felt like an outcast. They treated her different, her power comes from her Black side n she said n this vid “I jus feel like they don’t like me”. Color will always play apart when it comes to white ppl never think differently n if one tells u it doesn’t THEY LYING, they acknowledge n call out ur race b4 they will ur gender, that’s how important it is to them. As far as the “their power is built off the sweat of our backs” I mean come on who would disagree with that Black or White? We Blacks built this country n u know it not to mention we never got a lick of reparations for it. Can’t be “victims” we were never allowed to be, always had to pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps. Imagine being a slave n then suddenly ur free and the government never even gave u compensation to start ur life but they give ur former slave owner compensation for losing u….. As I’m typing this im really grasping n realizing what I’m saying….built this country, we’re slaves, violated, raped, beat, eaten, murdered, hung, lynched, pillaged, fed to alligators etc no rights at all n one day we’re suddenly free and given NOTHING. Till this day Blacks have never gotten a lick of reparations or anything tangible for our contributions for building this entire country…WE OR OUR ANCESTORS NEVER GOT A FUCKING DIME, A PENNY FOR OUR LABOR OR THE HORRORS THAT WAS DONE TO US. It was jus ur free now go fin for yourself, I jus got to deep n I pissed myself off. It’s not even about Ahs no more let me get off here
