I think Dex is in on it, and that’s why he gaslights her so much about everything that alarms her. And I definitely think Shiobhan and the Ashley’s are dark witches that aren’t necessarily aligned with Dex. I think it’s more complex than them all being on the same side but that’s all I got.

I think Dex is involved and we probably find out either in next week's episode or whenever Part 2 will air, that his family links back to the demon baby born to Queen Mary. Or it could all be to throw us off and there's no connection at all. Just showing that these deals were made with dark forces for power/fame/fortune even by powerful people who already had such. What stuck out the most to me was the mention of "he's waited 6,000 years" which has to be a clue to something for tracking back from the 1500s to 6,000 years in the historical timeline to the BC era, christian religion was just barely starting. Honestly no idea where all this is headed but still think it's a coven of dark witches intent on bringing a male supreme witch into the world but that goes out the window with the demon baby being born.

In the book, Dex & Cora (the receptionist) are having an affair but then again I think they might make the show a little different to the book

I think the miscarriage was so the baby would be a vessel witches fill the womb... two factions. let's see if they name child Michael and the baby scene in preview is most likely vision or dream in her mind. schoban juice started process... the women killed it with ultrasound but are possibly dof that to free life from baby so it can be filled. satan or son of and also I liked DeX in that fabulous medical show the resident. now that's a show i wish were still filming.
