I remember seeing the lovely Camile Velasco on American Idol on the night she sang this song. I think it is an amazing performance. She has a special quality that is unique to herself. That rich tone, and that innocent easy way about her. I watch this video all the time and never tire of it. I hope Camile will record this and other rich standards like it. Hip hop, NOT. Randy is wrong. This young lady could be mainstream given a chance with some beautiful ballads. Love it. Oh she is also a beautiful person inside and out.

Paula Ford Meh, Honolulu is like every other major city in the world. We have tons of traffic (we swap #1 worst traffic in the country with LA every now and then). It's crowded, we have the highest # of homeless people of all the states, and the cost of living is sky high. To get as close to that postcard Hawaii you're picturing, skip the Oahu tourist trap and head over to Kauai instead.

Oh my god, after seeing this, the commercial pressure cooker they put these kids are put under to fit into a mass selling mold? Meantime, just because somebody didn't alert them, or tell them how good they actually were, they're missing out on markets and a way to make their money by being their authentic selves doing what they love in the best way they can musically.
