Actually, Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution (another of Tomas Kalnoky's projects) has a song called "The Provide the Paint for the Picture-Perfect Masterpiece That You Will Paint on the Insides of Your Eyelids" that starts very much like this cover (I always thought it was an homage), so in one way or another, it's possible that you could be reminded of Streetlight Manifesto by this. (by the way if you're into Streetlight's style and haven't heard of BotAR, you should totally check them out, they have an amazing EP!)
