Spot on...too many so called blockbuster films are all about cgi at rhe expense of a good script telling a good story..American made was a brilliant and refreshing film to come out of Hollywood.

They showed the important thing-that he was running guns for the CIA & the Reagan government to help the contras, then flooding our country with cocaine & getting rich in the process. He screwed Pablo Escobar & paid the price.
