My first rifel was a savage and axis. i bought it for 500$ canadian new. I started loading round for it and it shoot 1/2-3/4 MOA. unreal for the cost.

That would be nice if Savage arms company would make an AR-15 style rifle or an AR-10 rifle because a lot more people use the AR-10 platform to go hunting with instead of a bolt action rifles nowadays

Yeah. Referring to everybody as equal in one breath, then referring to someone as "just a ... when he started" in another breath doesn't jive. But he was already guilty for making the unsolicited "everybody equal" statement anyway. I'm still surprised that made it through the final cut. Oh well. I don't work for him.

He can’t honestly believe himself when he says that Savage “makes the best guns that are the most accurate in the industry” Because that’s simply not true. My least accurate rifle is a Savage. Their bolt actions feel like you’re pushing the bolt into a pile of gravel. And there are TONS of other gun makers on the market that offer better accuracy, better fit and finish, better looking, and better quality. Savage does make a perfectly functional gun, but they are not even close to being an industry leader when it comes to accuracy and quality.
