Oh wow I remember being at the bus top in highschool listening to this in the dark, and I lived out in the country so it was especially spooky lol. I wish I could go back sometimes, but at least I can always visit wonderland.

there is a charm to this game series like no other. the kind that makes you just want to play through the whole game after listening to 1 of the soundtracks. well, maybe bioshock infinite too

I dunno but this track is my favourite in the game! I just love it. it's sad, depressing and spooky but still elegant! I wished the soundtrack In Madness returns OST can't match the original Alice!

Your comment is 6 years old. It's 2021 and I still feel exactly the same as you do, this IS the best track of American McGee Alice, and that's saying something.

@@jheanrodrigues6803 I wouldn't really count on it being in the same vein, this music was a product of its time. Used old synth type sounds, along with synthetic vocals, gave it a very eerie and unsettling vibe.

the 2nd game had way less frustration due to much better platforming but all the time I saved from not flinging myself into the void I wasted trying to find hidden knickknacks. The first game had so much more in the way of variation with all the additional weapons enemies and boss fights. The second game felt rushed it always seemed like you were building up to a boss fight and then the game resolved it with a cutscene instead. It felt like they intended to have you fight these bosses and then pulled them at the last second. I feel like EA didnt approve madness returns and then approved and rushed Madness Returns because of the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland movies. They are both worthwhile games but the intense repetition of Madness Returns makes me reluctant to replay it. Madness Returns also left a bad taste in my mouth retconning the existence of Alice’s sister and changing the source of the fire the start of which is literally the first thing we are shown going into the first game

EA wrecks yet another game
@BeeWaifu5 жыл бұрын
@@ImTooSlippery Well, remember the robot in Hatter's world that Hare and Dormouse were going to use against you? That was supposed to be a boss. McGee wanted to add bosses to the end of each level and have the Abyssal Train be its own level as well, where each section was cut off by you meeting the characters as 'passengers'. That's why the transitions between them on there seem...odd. EA put too high of time constraints on American McGee, so he couldn't do everything he wanted.

Well, can you imagine it's sequel' s graphics and cinematic stuck in 2000, the year the first Alice came out. I love to see new turned to retro. Low graphics are much bet te r than high graphics.

This track can get me to tears... 💔 If the world only knew... Why we tell these stories... Father forgive them... Reach out to God, your Father... He loves you as His own child, His Son loves you as a sibling and dear friend, the Spirit loves you like a Mother loves Her child. God is the source of all love. He is love embodied. His Son gave His own life to purchase you from sin. You are everything to Them, to Him, They are One. Three who are timelessly united in Their very essence. Reach out to the Son, for He longs to present you to His Father. The Son's name is Yeshua. Call out to Him and His Father. Call out and be saved. ♥️ If I could say nothing more to you... It would be this.
