american models K4 S scale / S gauge

I have this loco plus five others from American Models. My track and switches are vintage American Flyer and all locos operate just fine with exception of the GGI. The guide wheels are sensitive to any variation in track height and when track is not absolutely level the guide wheels will jump. Some track adjustment has been completed but one small section is at the layout rear and can only be reached by clearing a part of the platform and working on hands and knees. No thanks.
