I've read many of these kind of comments....that vloggers have self-interest too in vlogging the Philippines. It's a natural human response that when you do something that is appreciated, the more you would like to do it. It's positive re-enforcement. It's not all about "much monetization..." Sadly, most Filipinos are all over the world for economic reasons. These vloggers' videos "cure" our homesickness. Thus, the "positive" responses. I think local subscription is part of our hospitality too. It is not a symbiotic relationship. We get MORE than what the vloggers get actually.

i agree with this guy you interviewed, you can show negative side of our country, but don't make it like all Filipinos will get angry, we don't care brothers if you want to show negative side because we have, we admin that we have it, all country have their own bad reputation, now it up to you how will you show and describe it with your vlogs or content without hurting people's feeling, that's why we have law of foreigners not to support any locals who fighting against our government because it will lead to persona non grata, if you don't do any offensive things in our country, your life will be easy and safe.
