I watched the video of when they were born and a few videos after that. Thanks for sharing. They're all beautiful including Momma. It's amazing how well she cares for them. I wonder if she would throw up if you fed the babies until they were full. Momma might sense that they're still hungry and that's why she throws up. Just a thought. I don't go to church and I'm not a big believer in God, but when I see animal instincts like these, it makes me more of a believer. It's like a superior being programmed them for survival. How do they now exactly what to do on with their first litter. No one showed momma how to cut umbilical cord or that it's necessary to do that. How do they know to eat placenta. It's all beautiful.

Aimee some ppl are gonna say thats nasty, but in order to understand dogs,you have to understand wolves. wolves do that until there puppies can eat meat. Nyi is a great mom for that

+Darrell Calhoun I know some people don't understand the way of life when it comes to dogs being the closet domesticated relatives of wolves. Nyi literally does everything that wolves do in the wild with these puppies. She teaches them everything they need to know, she makes sure they get fed, cleans up after them and everything still. Wolves have to eat their young poop in order for it not to attract predators! There's absolutely no need for her to do this here as they are 100% safe but she still does it because it's just her instincts! It's incredible to watch her care for them. It amazes me constantly!

+Kita Inc. yea most of them live in the same state as us and we have plans to get them all together for a big play date when they're close to 6 months old! It was very sad but we spent a lot of time making sure every single pup went to the best possible home so that made it much easier on us! We get constant updates with pics and videos from everyone so it's great to watch them all get bigger! We ended up keeping one of the pups so we have a piece of them! It was an incredible experience and we can't wait to do it all over again! 😘

If you're going to give them to him together then yes, you would give him less Orijen so he's not getting over fed. Or you can give him his Orijen in the morning and afternoon and raw at night. Completely up to you hun!

Maybe that's something they practice when you feed them Raw because I've never seen that happen when feeding dry food.

+Top Shotta No, it's not just raw though. It's just something they do in the wild (wolves) and part of their instincts. Not all domesticated dogs do this as they just don't know that they need to as we always feed the puppies. That's why it's so incredible to us that even though Nyi shouldn't feel the need to do this, she still does as her instincts are taking over and telling her to. It just shows how good of a mother she is. Also, most people don't have the pups with the mother until they wean on their own. They usually sell the puppies before that happens naturally. You can google it, as we did, and see that it's actually very common and has nothing to do with what type of food the mother eats. More so on the mothers instincts and prey drive. If the mother has a strong prey drive she will feed her puppies anyway she can. 😁

I did stop her though and helped start weaning the puppies she needed to eat. I actual wait now until the moms start doing this to start weaning.
