The twins in this group (Ras and Taj) come from parents who were both in the industry. Their father is Ras Kass - a rapper from the west coast. Their mother is Teedra Moses, an R&B singer from late ‘90’s or early 2000’s.

Dope react, fellas. I'm sitting here thinking it's funny that while y'all were like "Why haven't we heard of these guys yet?", I'm thinking "Why haven't I heard of you guys yet?". I definitely fall into the 'old head' category, and as somebody whose daily rotation is a lot of Wu Tang, DOOM, Black Thought, Sean P, and shit like that I feel fortunate to have picked up on Coast Contra right when their Never freestyle joint dropped. They was definitely doing the work before then but that's the one that went crazy viral and took them to a whole other level of exposure. For me, it's literally been since I picked up the Enter the 36 Chambers on cassette tape like 30 years ago up until now where I've heard something that made me feel like the artists were actually doing something so different and at such a high level that they would push the entire art form forward. I think it would be ill to check out an interview from you guys with them and I hope you get the opportunity. Just a heads up, they were on an episode of People's Party with Talib Kweli a while back if that's something you'd be interested in checking out. Sorry to be so wordy, just saying I love the vibes, the intellect, and the OG experience that y'all bring. Thanks for the work that you do and I subbed immediately.

Also want to point out the choreography in this. It might look simple because they sitting around a table but you can tell that every movement is planned, choreographed and executed with precision.
