NHS is the National Health Service - it's free at the point of service, because it's paid for from taxes, but Conservatives in the UK want to privatise it because they often sit on the boards of private health firms, so for about 12 years now they have been slowly reducing the investment (of our own taxes) into it, which is making nurses and doctors leave either by choice or redundancy whilst also limiting funding for treatments and medications which is literally contributing to earlier deaths around the country. Grenfell Tower - this was an incident, was caused by insulation cladding that was installed on high rise buildings around the country (mostly in Conservative lead councils) the cladding wasn't fit for purpose as it had some kind of material that was highly flammable, but was chosen as it was cheaper to install even though it was known to the intallers and councils that it wsa dangerously flammable. A person in the tower had a faulty appliance (allegedly) and the cladding was so flammable that half the building was in a blaze before any help got there and 72 people died as a result, iirc no one received any kind of jail time for it.

Another quick google search would tell you this "The NHS has experienced a decade of underfunding since 2010, despite cash boosts in 2018 and 2019. Between 2009-2019 the NHS budgets rose on average just 1.4% per year, compared to 3.7% average rises since the NHS was established." - That is literally a slow reduction in investment. For info on the Grenfell fire the music videos by Lowkey Ghosts of Grenfell part 1&2. UK leaving the European Union - Brexit was going to give £350M/week to the NHS (National Health Service- free to use healthcare paid for by taxes), but that has been proven to be a straight up lie, with no consequences. The only Brexit Bonus seems to be uncapped bonuses for bankers. In the end it’s the only time that a country has applied economic sanctions to itself. Disaster capitalists have made millions, so it’s no surprise that they pushed for it. For most people it has been nothing but damaging. Economically, families and relationships lost over the Brexit debate, splitting the country. We've had 2 new Prime Ministers since this, each worse than the last. The Grenfell disaster is one of the biggest cover. ups in modern times. It was a tower block housing hundreds of poor people, many of ethnic origin, who had very little housing choice. It was in one of the richest boroughs in the Country. The council clad the building to improve the appearance of it for the benefit of the rich people in cladding they knew was flammable because they didn't want to pay the extra to make it safe. They also didn't have proper fire doors, windows or sufficient sprinklers. A fire started at just after 1am and took twenty minutes to cover the whole building and burnt for two days. The official figure is 72 deaths but the real number is significantly more as there was no record of who was in the building and bodies have never been found. They were expendable people in the eyes of the Council just to keep the wealthy folk happy! The remains still stand as a haunting reminder of what happened that night and to this day there are still many buildings clad in this material! Well done Dave for keep reminding people!

The NHS is the National Health Service. We pay for the hospitals and doctors through our taxes to get “free” health care. Though it’s very slowly and purposefully being broken down, destroyed and internally privatised. A lot of drug companies, health care companies and health insurance companies are taking money out of the service for profit rather than for the benefit of the people and to cover costs and wages etc (Trump said our NHS was safe and American investors weren’t interested and would stay away - what you think is happening!) Also as part of the Brexit promise (Britain exiting / leaving Europe) they suggested the 350 mil per week sent to Europe for membership would be saved and then channeled and invested into NHS instead. Did that happen? What you think? Grenfell was a Housing Estate / Tower block in London (Dave has spoke about this so many times and in many songs - “Black” live at the brits) that had been externally clad with some cheap plastic (to save money and so it wasn’t an eyesore from the posh parts of London) that would externally reflect fire, but the way it was made (on the cheap) it also reflected internally / didn’t let the fire escape, a fire started on lower levels and travelled up the cladding and caused havoc, destroying the building and many families homes and killing a lot of residents and families. Firemen didn’t know this and told people to stay in the building - sentencing them to their deaths (though they wasn’t to know about this cladding - they just followed standard procedures for high rise buildings that would have been practical if not for the cladding) And government trying to blame them saying was their fault. He’s just basically explaining how all our government is doing is trying to transfer public wealth to private hands whilst also cutting corners and putting the public at risk in many many ways. And they do this while telling the public they are doing this for our benefit and we want it. Question Time is also a political talk show with Members of Parliament and Government representatives (Akala has been on this a few times spitting facts, pointing out flaws in government, polices and British society whilst schooling and destroying these reprobates that are running this country and who are ment to represent us) It’s where the public get a chance to put questions forwards to politicians whilst debating the latest political and social issues (obviously they never give straight answers and lie as much as they do as part of their standard political career!)

31:04 Grenfell fire was caused by incredibly unsafe building practices. Corners were cut at every turn to save money. Grenfell was a high rise flat. As the fire grew, people were literally trapped in the building. People were also advised by fire brigade and police go stay in the building. Afterwards, a politician said people should have "used their common sense and acted against the advice of emergency professionals". It's been about 5 years (if not more) since the totally avoidable tragedy. Reparations have not been made. No accountability has taken place. Many of the victims are still waiting for housing

Sometimes she’ll sit on the drive outside the house and cry in the car because she’s just had to hold someone’s hand, who has no family, while they’ve died. During COVID, her and her team threw a 21st birthday party for a lad on the ward because he couldn’t have his family come and visit. He died a few days later. My 21st birthday was 2 weeks later.
