Our Namjooni, one of the best lyricist in the world! I love that his lyrics are so meaningful and poetic. His lyrics can be powerful or simple yet beautiful. He is a true musician at heart and we all love him for it! Still Life is one of my favorite on the album.💜

Indigo was such a meticulously put together project. The music itself was so good and we got 10 genres in 10 tracks. Then the way the album was packaged reflected RM's love for art and the artist Yun with the paintings he chose, the art he included into the lyrics book, the art on the postcard, the way the photographer set up his photos for the material, the addition of a card with indigo jeans, and all of the litlte bits he added. Then there was the intimate free concert for 200 ARMYs he did at Rolling Hall where he gave everyone a letter with an indigo wax seal and small gifts to remember the day. The concert was filmed and released on KZbin so you can react to that after checking out the album if you like. It's great! The Indigo Magazine Film is another video they did and released on KZbin. It's RM diving deep into each song on the album (going in track order) and the people who collabed with him and produced all spoke about the music and the experience. It's a must watch for music lovers like yourself who like hearing artists/musicians talk about music. All of it had that distinct artistic flair that is so true to RM that you can tell he put his passion into it. He often shares his fave art pieces on Instagram when he goes to museums and he took us with him to museums when he did his vlog (each BTS member got to do one vlog where they picked something to do). There was just a lot of fun stuff we got. All of the solo albums had amazing things attached to them too.

I like this Tiny Desk performance too (despite the wonky subtitles)! I've waited years to see the growth of reaction videos to Korean singers/rappers, especially from black KZbinrs. I started listening to Kpop back in 2011. With the internet and social media, I feel like borders have really disintegrated when it comes to music. We're all in each other backyards culturally.

RM is not 30, he was actually turning 28, he was born September 12, 1994. He was talking about Korean age, which is different by 1 t0 2 years. RM said also he was working with the 4 guys in his band here, which means separate from BTS music. He doesn't mix the two.

"Indigo" (2022) is a delight of an album. A masterpiece. He takes you on a wonderful journey of genres. Eight of the tracks have features, carefully selected to perfectly suit each song and genre. They really show you his vision as an artist. The album is worth reacting to, track by track. If not, then at least "Wild Flower", the title track of this album. If you explore his solo works, you'll be blown away by his versatility. "RM" (2015), "mono" (2018), and "Indigo" are all starkly different from one another. And you can see his growth as a musician and as a person, both in sound and in lyrics. His recent solo collabs also show you his range, how he adapts to each song and artist.

I don’t know if anyone has told you but you are missing a lot of the depth of their music without diving into their lyricism. Maybe it’s deeper than you are interested in going, but just im case I thought I would comment about it. Doolset provides translations with context and channels like DKDKTV and a Bookish Theories and others, provide breakdowns for cultural and other context. Their music is really deeply meaningful and deeply layered. It’s part of their global appeal. There are many ARMYs who feel BTS music changed or even saved their lives. They delve into psychological theory, philosophy, history, socio-political and economic issues, mental health, literature, art and other influences and topics. RM, who has a genius level IQ, is the main songwriter in the group, followed closely by Suga and j-hope.

Heads up for next time but if you guys want to watch a video with proper subtitles you usually just have to look up the name of the video you want to watch with the words eng subs behind it. Make sure to check and see if they're actually the right subtitles too tho. Those automatic english tranalstions that come on the video itself are trash fr💀and never anywhere near accurate or even coherent, but if you look they are always some videos that have the right translations and cc to them trust me😁👌🏾

I love that you guys gave Namjoon a chance!! He is sooo underrated!! Such a genius with a 148 IQ. He makes only masterpieces!! His 2 mixtapes and album ingigo are def worth reacting to. He has many collabs too such as 'Change' with Wale, 'Champion' with fall out boy, 'fantastic' for one of the fantastic 4 movies and with various Korean artists, such as 'smoke sprite' which is soo good with SoYoon and 'dont ever say love me' with colde.
