​@@Nicoleboojie I like both of these songs. I grew up with 90s R&B down south, so Supernatural definitely takes me back to Bell Biv DeVoe and the New Jack Swing sound. I'm also really vibing with the high energy of Right Now. Not every NewJeans song makes it into my regular Spotify rotation and I was a little worried when the How Sweet album came out because neither song made it in, but both of these songs did. I had heard of BTS and Blackpink before, because they appeared on some US shows, but hands down, NewJeans brought me to kpop. My all time favorite from them is OMG followed by Get Up and Hurt.

@@Nicoleboojie Also, I think we will see a tie from Supernatural 1 and 2 with Right Now, e.g., Hyein's guy could be the same one that Hanni was waiting to hear back from in Right Now and Minji has figured out that he's playing both of her girls. There was a tie in to Ditto and OMG too that not a lot of people picked up on. In Ditto part two, the protagonist receives a phone call from Hanni that she ignores, and in OMG, we see Hanni frantically making that call.

If I’m correct Haerin and Hanni have colored hair corresponding to their ‘omg’ era hair color. They both did have that hair color for a short while. As for Hyein I think it’s red because of this era where she is seen with red hair in some cases.

I think its just to give their powerpuff personas more distint different looks and individual personalites.. also just to add more colour to be more aesthetically to see in a cartoon.. plus original powerpuff girls all had different hair colours.. maybe its just to be inline with that too... or maybe im looking way to much into it as i tend to do with all things newjeans.. im so sad lol😆

NJ is the one most cohesive, talented and well rounded group I have ever witnessed. point blank PERIOD. not a single group member falls behind, the chemistry/friendship is undeniable and the level of creative quality they've delivered is so rare to see so early on especially at their age. Ive been a fan of kpop since 2nd gen so I've been in love with sooooo many groups, something about NJs though is so well curated and the execution is too elite

The old powerpuff girls dont have black hair because in the song Newjeans i think some of their hairs werent black or they just said that they wanted different colored hair in the intro of newjeans btw this is their Japanese debutttttt!!!!!! Thats why super natural was like the way it sounded and looked it was early Japanese 90's i guess

Wahey back to newjeans!! thanks :) I have a theory on supernatural..... as it has 2 parts it HAS to be a deep lore story right? But before i go on a long winded one.. in a nutshell.. Hyein doesnt exist as a physical form but a supernatural entity.. now lets go on lol ..... NewJeans Minji, Dani, Hanni, Haerin and the 'guy' are paranormal phenomena investigators... investigating the strange goings on in the city.. the odd weather.. the UFO.. the Zebra Unicorn.. they get out of a Van at the start that literally has 'supernatural' written as a logo on it and its laden with weird devices on top (like the ghostbusters ambulance car thing had as well). None of those Members Interact with Hyein aka the bunny throughout the whole video.. it seems only the guy sees her. In the Scene where you think Minji is stealing her man to me it actually looks more like Minji comes to get the guy in a sort of lets go motion but it seems she doesnt see or realise Hyein is there. Even when they are dancing Hyein aka the Bunny shows up and dissapears again continuously. The bunny reminds me of Frank the Rabbit (a supernatural being) from Donnie Darko.. in that film only Donnie could see frank the rabbit... much like it seems only the guy can see Hyein in this... the lyrics suggest it might be about a 'supernatural' relationship between the boy and hyein. The dancing scenes also flip from 80s looking to current modern times with them wearing current clothing holding smartphones 9:56. Donnie Darko was also about time travel. Theres a scene if you pause quickly where Hyein is sitting to left of the screen looking ghostly holding an alien toy 11:39 (its at the bit with haerin in the dallas cowboys shirt.. shes sitting next to her on the left). Its probable Hyein is the Alien from the Bunny shaped UFO and the bunny is her real form.. with Hyein being her human disguise that for some reason only the boy can see.... Also the shot of the city at the start the tower they are in looks like a normal tower ... but at the end the city scene shows the tower has changed to have bunny ears.. maybe Hyeins presence their gives them all powers? which would explain dani..... but thats all i got till we see part 2 :P Also yeah its you know it :) new jack swing and it really reminds me of Bobby Brown 'Every Little Step' one of my fave songs and was actually from the bobby brown dont be cruel album which was the 1st album i ever bought when i was like 12 (on cassette tape) lol.. how do these girls keep doing my specific fave genres!! min heejin must have a very similar taste in music to me

@@Nicoleboojie ok. so if you do a google image search for 'newjeans supernatural van' the 1st or 2nd pic shows them on the van in this video... it looks like the ghostbusters car giving me the feeling they are paranormal investigators.. the 'argument' i think might be something to do with finding out whats going on... i think hanni says ''ill find out'' ... i think its something to do with their tower changing or dani getting powers or why the guy can see hyein when none of them can.... i dont think its an an argument as such but more of them wanting to find out wtf is going on lol

Yes only 4 of them are dancing bc Hyein was injured, she was actually a model before becoming an idol. But I wouldn’t necessarily call min hee Jin a genius, all she does is take inspiration from already existing groups from the 90s-early 2000s (both from western and jpop groups, even a Mexican group called Jeans)

She's def a genius, she takes inspiration from the 90s-2000s, yes but she does something to make it fresh and not look and sound outdated, the 'Jeans' sht has been debunked already, that group was styled the same way and their concept is the same as any other group or soloist that time, the choreo has 0 similarities unless you nitpick and take screenshots only not showing the full choreo. mhj was also behind other iconic kpop groups like f(x), shinee and early red velvet etc. everyone in the industry calls her a genius. Having inspiration doesn't make her less of a genius considering everyone in the game this day is inspired by someone, it's the way you express those and how you reinvent ideas that matters.
