Let me tell some things about BTS, and the first is: yes, we are the greatest fandom in the world, and we are not just screaming girls (I'm 66). They have a huge discography (+400 songs) in different genres (rap, hip hop, ballads, R%B, jazz, etc), most of their lyrics are deep and meaningful. Even those who are against social issues have a contagious rhythm. Give you the chance to meet them, and I hope that, like me, you fall into this awesome rabbit hole! Perhaps take into account that the entire crowd knew every word of songs sung in a mix of Korean and English (probably 70% Korean) - NO Portuguese - instead of focusing on them only appreciating certain moves - none of which were “the worm,” by the way. BTS has over 300 songs as a group in multiple music genres (like ballad, rock, R&B, rap, hip hop, neo-soul, jazz, EDM, and more). As solo artists, all seven have released projects that also run a gamut of genres and have broken records and done very well. All seven members are currently doing 18 months of mandatory military service. The oldest members gets out in June if this year, the next member does in October of this year, and the other five do next June (2025). The rock ballad you liked was the vocal line (versus the rap line) - The Truth Untold. The second one you liked was “Best of Me.” The next one you liked was “Dope.” There are four vocalists and three rappers. They started as a hip hop group and have evolved into doing numerous genres. They contribute to the writing/production of their music, and they wrote pretty much all of the lyrics.

We have suprised BTS in the past by all singing one of their songs to them as they finish talking to us before they can sing to us. eg Wembley Stadium, London second night over 40,000 of us singing in Korean. That's because ARMY are music fans of different genre's of music rather than 'Kpop' fans and BTS are not pure Kpop or pop. They are based in Hip Hop and R & B who use what genre of music they enjoy and mix them in interesting ways. They are 7 song writers, 7 Composers, 7 Producers all to a greater or lesser degree. They all have different influences and it come's through in their 10years of making music together. Plus all the their individual solo work, they are the Biggest Group on the planet the only group that's included in the Top 10 Global Artist List.

We are mostly an older fan base adults with excellent paying jobs well we have to be to be able to buy albums, Concert tickets, hotel rooms, airplane tickets and take time off work to travel to different countries to get to a Concert. We also have a huge male population within the Fandom. We are rap fans, R & B fans, Heavy Metal Fans, Rock Fans, EDM, jazz fans and more we like music with important meaning lyric's. We are doctors, lawyers, teachers, business owners, musicians, doctors, engineers, retired senior citizens etc etc etc.

That's the beginning of Mic Drop a complete Disk track to the haters and as it starts the fans are calling out the members name starting with the Leader/spokesperson of BTS RM (Kim Namjoon, then it goes from the oldest member Jin Seokjin down the youngest member Jeon JungKook and finishes with BTS. It's repeated twice for the introduction to Mic Drop which is a heavy based Rap Song.

The song holds a real message of loving oneself and not hiding away due to social/cultural or whatever is holding you back, making you afraid to step eg fear of rejection, fear that other's will see you as ugly etc.

The song you said was EDM was called Idol. The emotional deeper song that you enjoyed the most was called The Truth Untold. I hope you have a listen to some of their songs. Butter and Dynamite were two of their all english songs that were released during the pandemic time as light hearted cheer up pop songs. Many of their songs have a much deeper meaning than surface level pop songs. They have a very diverse range of genres, styles and music so you will always find something that suits your taste in their music.

You said you prefer the more emotional and singing songs vs. wrap heavy. My suggestions: Magic Shop, Mikrokosmos, 0 o'clock, Dimple, Truth Untold,. But you reacted to some of the more rhythmic, EDM songs...so, I would recommend Blood, Sweat and Tears, Save Me, Best of Me, On Kinetic Manifesto Film com Prima. There is so much content: Official Music Videos, Dance practice videos, award show and talk show performances, their own variety, comedy game show called "Run BTS". "In the Soop" "Bon Voyage" are shows following them on staycations and vacations which is a great way to understand them as people and not superstars. Going down the BTS rabbit hole has never not been an amazing journey of happiness and inspiration for anyone! I hope you take the leap!!

then came Outo:Tear and no it's not about a romantic break up. There was a period where they were exhausted they talked about disbanding. The 3 Rappers RM, Suga(aka Agust D) and J Hope all wrote what that would mean to them for RM is was tears, for Suga it was T. E. A .R (a psychology term) and the tearing of his heart out one line yeah yeah burn it, tear out his heart and burn it to ashes, while for J Hope it was 'fear'. Suga played it to the group and they all cried and vowed they weren't going to disband it wasn't what they really wanted they just needed a holiday a breather. BTS are not afraid to show their emotions and be real not just with each other, their company but with us as well.
