Another brilliant reaction. Understandable you dont get all of the English names but you still really do get this show as a whole. This episode is a real credit to James and Kathy seeing as no Beryl, Jez, Suze or even a guest character in a substantial role and they carry it off amazingly. Not to worry though as I'm certain 'The sun'll come out tomorrow' when Beryl, Suze and Jez return. Codeword used.😃

One of the best holiday specials 😄 Driving School was a reality tv series and Maureen was a middle aged lady who got famous for her ridiculously bad driving (and frequent outbursts☺) and she did remind folk of Anne Widdecombe. I like Anne Widdecombe, she was an MP (Member of Parliament) and appeared on reality tv too, she has a great sense of humour. Lindy playing charades and singing (and acting out the dance from the video) for Robbie William's song Millennium was brilliant😄 Patti Boulaye is a beautiful British singer, she won a talent show on tv called New Faces in late 70s. The joke about Linda’s first time with her being off her head on vodka and glue and only knowing she’d done it because her “brownie uniform was on back to front” - brownies is the equivalent of Girl Scouts which is why Tom looks confused/disgusted and asks how old she was, then she clarifies that she was 17 but was still in the brownies at that age because she kept getting held back because they wanted to keep her there because she was so hot 😂

I have been waiting for you to see this episode!! 😂 it’s my favourite of the whole show and the pinnacle IMO. I could rewatch this episode over and over again. I love that it was a two-parter with just Linda and Tom, especially the scene when they are relating the Samson story and it was done in a single shot with no camera breaks. Your laugh is so infectious too, I love that you love this show 😂 ICYMI: the guy in Tom’s dream sequence at the start was his beloved often-mentioned crush Simon Shepherd

Great video, I've watched many of them and it's great to see Gimme Gimme Gimme again, I remember a British movie starring Kathy Burke alongside Harry Enfield called Kevin & Perry Go Large, where Kathy plays a dude, I definitely recommend it as you seem to be into british comedies and that movie is just a classic.

I never tire of watching this. I've always loved these characters! Kathy Burke did some serious acting playing Mary Tudor in a film around the same time this was made. She was excellent in it and showed the diversity of her acting skills. Love her Linda character. Hilarious!

You kept The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow until the very end, thought you was forgetting the code word 😂 Nobody should get angry at things you don't understand, I watched this programme when it was first aired on TV, it was always very topical so you can imagine how funny it was, young people from the UK would have difficulty getting the gags, You should try watching some Harry Enfield, Kathy Burke did a lot of acting with him, I recommend clips of Wayne and Waynetta Slob, revoltingly hilarious, another comedy I loved was Early Doors, like this there was only three series, I think you will like it, like Gimme Gimme Gimme to use an old fashioned word it is full of Pathos, really look forward to sharing series two with you, even funnier than series one.

This was a speciol episode lol, Tom and Linda are brilliantly inventive when they're arguing and slagging each other off. So many funny lines in this, they're so good together that it didn't occur to me till near the end that they had been the only characters in that episode, Beryl, Jez and Sue are great, but I didn't miss them. And trust Tom and Linda to pass out and miss the fun, they were so sad as well, maybe *the sun'll come out tomorrow* for them 🌞😂 I'm enjoying you enjoying this show, I had a feeling you would like this when you did your first reaction video of it. This reminds me of a comment by British comedy trio 'The Goodies'. (Look them up, not all their shows were on BBC, so some may be KZbin friendly). They said they received their funding for an entire season up front, and by the time they reached the final episode had little money left. It meant they had no money for location shots, other actors and props, and would often resort to the three of them stuck somewhere, doing monologues.

Growing up in Germany we only had slap-stick comedy a la Benny Hill (but really bad) and political satire (extremely good), but they also showed The Flying Circus with subs on the secondary channel. Later it was Mr Bean at first, in the 90s I got acquainted with Blackadder, Eddie Izzard and all the brilliant comedy Britain had and still has to offer. I must say I had quite an education and have been madly in love with British humour ever since. In America the only show that I find quite acceptable (and actually brilliant) is Curb your enthusiasm.
