My American ex-roommate (random rooming freshman year) asked me where I'm from. I said Malaysia and he proceeded to seriously asked me if we have freeways/highways there. Dafuq kinda question is that, I should have said we have the tallest twin buildings in the world and also the 2nd tallest building on the planet behind Burj Khalifa (he probably doesn't know what that is) but instead I just plainly said yes😅😅

Brit here. Sorry but I agree with Helen m8. There are hundreds of these videos out there and although a few might be false the majority are true. Multiple countries saying it and I've been based in Miami and Seattle with my job and some of the things I have been asked or told was mind blowing. I've never posted any though cos I love your country and have some friends for life I met over there. I feel anyone from any country can be stupid but when Americans do it they do it in style lol. Take care m8🇬🇧🇺🇸

@@moonramshaw1982 The majority of reaction channels are all the proof we need... ...as the majority are run by stupid people, some of which repeatedly claim to be learning, yet immediately forget what they've learnt.

0:30 Tweet Number 1 - *Iain Logie-Baird* the Canadian grandson of *John Logie-Baird* the man who invented TV, will be holding a 100 year anniversary party to celebrate his grandad, for former workers of the former *Baird Television Factory* in *Bradford* the world's first *UNESCO City of Film.* The *Baird Television Factory* in *Bradford* was the *Biggest TV Factory in Europe* until it closed in 1978. My parents worked there, which is why they've been on multiple reunions already, most of which have been in the last couple of years, and my mum has agreed to be interviewed for a video/film/TV show next year at the 100 year anniversary. *Ian Logie-Baird* lives in *Bradford,* and used to work at the *National Science and Media Museum* in *Bradford* from 2007 until 2016.

In Europe you are often even trilingual and you dont have any accent, because you speak all languages from early childhood.

Well for sure but I know many from Norway in specific, all have a very strong accent. That's all I was getting at.

@@TKSREACTIf you're properly bi- or trilingual you don't have an accent because you grow up with different languages from day one. Your Norwegian friends surely started learning English in school at the age of 6+. - Apart from that an American accent is the easiest one to pick up (unlike a British one). I am an English teacher in Germany and a lot of my students picked up an American accent just from watching US series on Netflix etc.

The Afro- American questions are most likely real because I've been in the US and been asked if there are Afro-Americans in Sweden...?

1:40 that pizza one is funny. Although, pizza has a strange history. Back in the day, pizza was mainly found in Naples, other parts of Italy didn't really do pizza. It was actually an Italian-American pizza parlor in New York, I believe, that the popularity of pizza took off in the States. After this, more tourists going to different parts of Italy asked for pizza (which must have baffled many Italians). And at first, it wasn't available, but due to the demand, pizza became more and more common in other parts of Italy. So, while America didn't invent pizza, it actually has a hand in popularizing it in Italy. Strange history indeed. The original pizza in Naples (pizza Napoletana) is very simple and didn't include cheese, and lighter than its American counterparts.

Actually the reason for the popularity of pizza out of naples and other parts of southern and central Italy IS mainly due to the economic boom and the internal mass emigration from the south to the industrialized north

@@SummerDream3r yeah I saw that documentary too, it did not really convince me. It may have had an impact but not nearly on pair with the reason I described you. By the way in the years when pizza became popular tourism was not a mass phenomena like in the recent decades to justify such a shift caused by requests coming from foreign tourist. p.s. I am Italian
