Yessss! I loved your reaction! BTW, the massage is really strong when you get to know Michael's history of being an outcast kid, that was bullied because of his hight pitch voice. One time he was shoved into a trash can. so when he is singing "no one brings me down/I know I'm stunning" and all of that - he is impowering himself and a lot of others who are going/went trough similar things. The thing is that some part of the Eurovision fandom (especially those on the Wiwiblogs message board) feed on eachother's hate. I remember last year there was this fan "consensus" that Eden Elen won't qualify or barely make it to the final. That of course was completely false and she made it comfortably. So all these "fans" can continue hating - reality will be different once again. Israel may not be bringing a winner, but it sure brings the smiles and party mood.

There were more than a few that declared at the time that Toy is a flop and will not even qualify. The Wiwi message board is like Facebook. It feeds mostly on negativity and bitter people. The funny thing that if this same entry was coming out of San Marino or Lithuania they would be flipping out and screaming it's a top 5 material.

I think people that are used to see, like, this "Rupaul's Drag Race kind of thing" are being overly picky because it is basic compared to other songs in this style. However, he sells this very nicely and will surely stand out in the semifinal. A revamp would be awesome!

I love him. But that's it. The song itself is too campy for my taste. But I'd appreciate it more if he brought some queens on stage, cause it's great for a drag show, if you wanna go camp, go big. Often times, a bunch of excessive style & choreo are added to the number to conceal the singer's questionable vocal ability. But this guy... can... sing. He hit notes I wasn't even asking for. Plus the song doesn't sound over produced. Not my favorite song, but I don't see this not qualifying.

I like it! It wasn't my favourite of the studio cuts, but as soon as I saw the performance it jumped waaaay up. I think there's a number of fans who hate it because their favourite didn't win, and yes the studio version sounded a bit messy, but it just works.
