Damiano and Victoria said that the song is mainly about what they wished someone would have said to them to expect when they were to turn 20. They also said the message behind it is to let people be who they want to be and be authentic, to encourage society to get rid of stereotypes.

Damiano wrote this song all by his own when he was 20 for people to make the right choices. Now he's 22 and obviously he followed the lyrics of this song so that he is in the right direction rn :)

He starts talking about him being 20yo and ends talking to whoever of that age is listening to the song. He says something like “I’m telling you this now while I still can (before growing up and/or getting eaten by the system).

Epoch reactions Welcome in the world to the Maneskin! Europe LOVE Damiano's lyrics! Thanks for react!
@chezzlefy32733 жыл бұрын
If I remember right they kind of wrote this for themselves. They are very vocal about being young and unexperienced and how it is okay to make mistakes as long as you take accountability of them. This is very beautiful song and speaks for many 20yo (for me too). Beautiful lyrics and instrumental, they craft their songs together, tho Damiano is mainly doing the writing.

Damiano writes the lyrics. He wrote Torna a casa when he was 19 years old and in my opinion it's their best song

Actually he doesnt wants to run away. In Italian that is ( escapare via ). He must runs cause life is too short . He will live and seize all

SCAPPARE not ESCAPARE... I corrected you not to be unpleasant but because at least now you know this verb correctly. Thanks anyway for explaining the difference between CORRERE and SCAPPARE! as an Italian I appreciated it very much!

"I'm only 20 but i have to run" meant that even though he's so young he has to fight (run) and doesn't mean that he will run away.

I knew you will love this song! 😊 The correct pronunciation of the band name is mOneskin, Damiano writes all the lyrics. *the more you know* 😁 Next recommendation: Måneskin - La paura del buio / Fear of the Dark (Radio Italia Live) - SUBTITLES ENGLISH + ITALIAN Also omg your shirt is EVERYTHING! 👍

The ci pronoun in Italian works for “you, I…” depends on the context. It’s a bit weird, I’ve had trouble with it too since I don’t speak Italian as a native language. In the last phrase they say “c’hai” is “you have” with the Ci pronoun, so he can be writing to himself, to someone else, to an audience etc. I think the message goes like… directed to him and everyone else at once.
@eneatonini96412 жыл бұрын
A bit simpler. The correct italian for "i have" is "io ho" and for "you have" is "tu hai". "Io c'ho" and "tu c'hai" are just slang forms, not the best way for a school test but can be used in informal conversation

The song is a message of self-esteem and courage to all young people in the world because it talks about situations that anyone in their twenties must face ... The first part is the point of view of adults, their expectations towards twenty-year-olds. The second is her point of view, the third is a message to all boys and girls

Damiano sings,write all the lyrics of the songs and composes many of the songs.For example I wanna be your slave is his "Damiano David originally came up with the song idea on the piano. When he sent the audio file to bassist Victoria De Angelis, she and guitarist Thomas Raggi initially rejected it because it sounded terrible. The track only clicked with the others when during a work trip to London the band transferred the file to the bass and applied distortion. "My audio note was indeed bad," David said to The Guardian. "But my bandmates, as artists, should have had a minimum of imagination."
