Great content, as always! I'm very much a fan of this episode. The other convenience store across from Harrid's is called Singh's - in a few episodes Navid from Harrid's store will often mention Mr Singh's store and how it is sub-par (or talk about his shady practices), but we never actually see inside Singh's or meet Mr Singh himself.

Commenting as I watch before I forget, but the Nisa store that is across from Navids shop is an actual shop. Nisa is a chain of franchised convience stores that are typically located in some of the more...less affluent areas of the city. Navids shop is a real shop in real life, it's run by a guy called Ralph Suleman, and the shops named Alfy's Paper Shope Townheed, it sits in the center square of a council estate (equivelent of a project I guess in the USA?) called Townhead. The crew come in for a few days a year, make the front of the store over, and then film most of the scenes for the whole season in a few days. The shop has been there in the Suleman family for 50 years and is still there. The Nisa across the street I believe is gone now the building it was in was demolished and rebuilt, they're now dorms for the near by Glasgow Strathclyde University.

Craiglang isn't a real place, the show is filmed in locations around Glasgow. The shows shops are real shops in an area called Townhead, Navid's shop is filmed in a small shop that only stocks a small number of items, the other shop you noticed in the background is larger and more of a mini-mart, with a much larger variety of items for sale.

We did my grandparents' funeral plans a couple of months ago. No death yet, just advance planning. Granny wants to be cremated with little fuss and get ashes put beside her mother's in Dundee, and that was nearly £4000. Her husband is to be buried in a countryside graveyard in Perthshire near his parents and brothers and sisters, who are also in that graveyard; that was almost £7000, not including the lair which, according to Perth and Kinross Council, is something like £907. Definitely not a cheap thing in 2020!
