3:38 definitely check out Peter Fox / Seeed in general, and Fantastische Vier (*the* German godfathers of German rap, paving German rap its way in the 1990s). Seeed released an English version of one of the top albums, too. Both groups as well as most of the German-sung songs you liked are not only popular for the vibe, but also if not even more for the lyrics, which are mostly lyrical expressive, live from word plays, irony, and mostly go deep in one way or another. (not the majority of rap produced from 2017 on, their lyrics are mostly quite simple, except Peter Fox/Seed/Fanta Vier). 6:38 you actually might have seen before. Before Sarah Connor switched genres and from English to German singing she was internationally successful as a German R'n'B queen.

Honestly pretty happy to see this comment section. In lots of videos, there's usually a bunch of comments saying 'german music started to get ruined after 2017' and like, not really? There are a bunch in there that I really like, and this is only counting the top 10. Music taste just got different, and that's not a bad thing. It would be boring if we got songs of the same caliber for years on end. Also, can confirm, 8:46 is a vibe. Very chill overall, I usually listen to it on a quiet night and the room lit with colored lights.

Willst du is actually a song from a pretty genius artist. Alligatoahs songs cover really important themes in a sarcastic way. Willst du mit mir Drogen nehmen (Do you want to take drugs with me) is meant in a sarcastic way. I think it would be cool if you react to the whole song.

Witzig: Bei den ersten paar Jahren immer voll die schöne Musik und zwischendurch kackt Deichkind halt voll in die Playlist 😂😅 Schade: Bis 2013-2014 sehr viel gute Musik und dann nurnoch schlechter möchtegern-Gangsterrap.. Und in der Liste aus dem Jahr 2019 zu sehen (rein objektiv nur was die Musik angeht, von der Band kann man halten was man will und ich will darüber hier auch keine Diskussion anfangen) ist Deutschland von Rammstein halt der tiefgründigste und beste Song seit Jahren.. Was ich wirklich traurig finde da mir dieses Video so ein bisschen die Trendrichtung veranschaulicht.
