Shot number 3 was remarkable not for the shot itself. It was remarkable because it was against Akhtar after a pre-match claim by Akhtar that Sachin is scared to play against him. The six just shattered that ego.

Fun fact: Sachin used one of the heaviest cricket bats. His amazing timing with those heavy bats giving momentum was the secret sauce of his success. Why he chose to play with heavier bats? Because he shared his elder brother's bats while playing as a kid and got so used to it he just continued. 😀

24:22 You can’t place a fielder directly in front of the wicket (in the straight line of the pitch) to defend the boundary due to specific fielding restrictions and safety reasons: 1. Fielding Restrictions: During certain overs, especially in powerplays, there are restrictions on how many fielders can be outside the 30-yard circle. Placing a fielder directly in front of the wicket to protect the boundary would usually mean violating these restrictions. 2. Safety Concerns: Having a fielder directly in front of the wicket poses a significant risk to their safety. Balls hit straight back towards the bowler often travel at high speeds, and a fielder positioned in that line would have very little reaction time to avoid injury. 3. Strategic Disadvantages: Keeping a fielder in that position might not be effective strategically. Fast and hard-hitting shots down the ground are challenging to field cleanly in such a close position, making it more practical to position fielders at angles that allow better reaction times and fielding opportunities. Thus, fielding placements are carefully designed to balance defensive tactics and the safety of the players. Also, If a fielder were placed directly in front of the wicket, it would obstruct the batsman’s view of the bowler and the ball, which is a crucial aspect of fair play in cricket. The batsman needs a clear line of sight to accurately gauge the bowler’s delivery, anticipate the ball’s trajectory, and play their shot. This obstruction would give the bowler an unfair advantage and violate the principles of the game, which aim to maintain a fair contest between bat and ball. Therefore, placing a fielder directly in front of the wicket is not allowed for both strategic and fairness reasons.

His technique was just supreme, he used to find gaps in the field like there were no fielders in the stadium. I sum him up as the only player who can hit one ball in all the directions of the ground from the same position. He is to cricket what Messi is to football, generational. This is what differentiates Sachin and why he is the only batsman to be considered close to perfection in cricket technique. A humble lovable man. Much like Messi is football.

12 Henry Olonga incident was example of how Sachin worked on his game. Olonga got him out early in previous match and they celebrated it a lot. Olonga even made some comments on Sachin before next match. Sachin studied what happened in last game and came back next match scoring boundaries on deliveries similar to one he got out on in last game. He punished Olonga so much, poor guy never got his confidence back after this game.

All cricketers choose some of cricketing bookish shots(and some classy shots) But Sachin's all shots became part of cricketing bookish shots and even some are non replicable.cricketers watches Sachin's play and practice to become good player. * In those days bowlers are very fit , ball used to come very fast , ball used behave different after some time it swings in &out. And Single ball is used .That time scoring run was very difficult but now 2 new balls are used in single innings so we are not seeing out Swing not much. * Playing such long period also needs fitness, courage, also need be in form means regular scoring. *No technology was present at that time because of that he easily he missed more than 15 century many on 99 also but never commented on those, never given any excuse, never cheated, if he knows he was out he used to go by his own. He is # GOD #TRUE LEGEND#REAL GOAT, *Sachin only used to pull whole INDIAN TEAM BY HIS OWN, IF SACHIN OUT THEN MATCH IS ALMOST USERS.that was the condition in those days.but he never disappointed. *Legend Shane warn said in his dreams Sachin used to come and hit their too badly 😅. The things people can associate with Sachin Tendulkar's 23 year old cricketing career is Logetivity, Consistency, Humbleness, Desire to perform against odds, Adaptability, innovation and yes offcourse injuries. 😅 Like what Prateek said is Sachin is more of a touch player than a "Demon Slayer" but that's half true. The thing is majority of the highlights you are watching in this video is that of post 2003 WC era where Sachin who was only 29-30 at that time was considered as a veteran player in terms of experience considering he started playing at the age of 16 years and by 2003-04 he had already 13-14 years of cricketing career in his kitty), and since cricket is one of the physically demanding sports (both physically and mentally) at times it takes its toll on player. Add to that, the added pressure of playing for India. However the resson for the change in playing style of Sachin is mostly considered due to the fact that he was using way too heavy bat for playing. Generally heavy bats are used by Big players/batters who are well over 6 feet and that too for specific parts in their innings. Tendulkar on the other hand played with heavy bat throughout in his innings in his career. So due to the use of heavy bats in an excessive amount he suffered the injury called "Tennis Elbow" in and around 2003-04. An injury which is career terminating as for a batter their elbows plays a huge role in genrating power in their shots. Due to this fact, many experts started mumerimg about the retirement of Tendulkar as due to this injury Tendulkar was unavailable for many days (as he undergone surgery for Tennis Elbow and also in recovery from that) in Indian Crixketing calender. Secondly after making comeback from Tennis Elbow injury many experts believed that Tendulkar has become the shadow of himself in terms of performance and is only playing based on Reputation quota rather than on basis of performance. Many even predicted that this may be the last we are seeing of Tendulkar (around 2004-2007). But Tendulkar being Tendulkar who won't shy away from any challenges and takes them head on, decided once again to prove his critiques wrong. And during that time only he changed his game from a "Swashbucking batter who at times murders the bowling lineups on his own" into a more of a touch and finess and more of a crafty batter. Mind you that doesn't made him less imposing in front of opposition and they still feared him and regarded him as "the Indian team's greatest batter". This transformation of Tendulkar earned him title of "Cricketing God" in crixketing fraternity and even his fellow counterpart Matthew Hayden the big swashbuckling opener (well above 6'3) from Australia said in the regard of Tendulkar that "Yes I have seen God playing. And he plays for India at number 4 (Tendulkar's batting position) in test matches." And due to this Transformation in his batting approach Tendulkar once again reigned supreme in the fag end of his career. In fact during the fag end of his career (2008-2012) he once again reclaimed the Number 1 batting ranking both in Test matches and ODI matches (a rare feat he acheived last more than 10 years ago in 1996-98) and since run making became easier till then and considering there were greatest players (batters and bowlers) of all time in cricket playing as Tendulkar's counterpart it was great enough of Tendulkar to return back into top 10 of batting rankings at that time, let alone topping the charts once again. Fun Fact: In the last Test series of Tendulkar against West Indies (16th-20th November 2013) he was playing together with a teammate named Bhuvneshwar Kumar (then aged 20-21) who wasn't even born the time Tendulkar made his Debut back in 1989. In fact majority of the Indian players playing in that game together with Tendulkar were in their Kindergartens when Tendulkar made his debut. 😂😂😂😉😉😉 P.S: I forget to mention bad luck too as one of the features of Tendulkar's Career. The history behind it is quite commical and at times seems quite unfair too. I don't wanna talk about that here, as it will make this already lengthy post lengthier, but consider the plight of this from two facts that it took World's greatest batter 18 years to win the World Cup(the most coveted trophy in Cricket) with his team. The other fact is that had Tendulkar not been a victim of bad umpiring, today he would have had more than 100 centuries to his name (which is still a record in cricket). 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

24:30 - Field placement is done by the bowler and captain. In a cricket field there are inner and outer circles... During certain times the captains are forced to put fielders accordingly inside the circle or outside. It depends on powerplay and all etc. Again, watch a full test match to understand properly. T20 is like an AI driver automatic car. TEST MATCH IS LIKE DRIVING STICK.

Prateek... please don't use cricketing terms when explaining.. crease, point and off side for example.. Dumb it down and make it exciting for the viewers as well

No that’s why we want him here! At this point we are actually trying to learn the game and more of the technicalities of it. We appreciate Prateek for what he has been able to do for us!

You guys are getting suckered into the BCCI cult. Indians are not the best cricketers. Sachin, whilst talented, was not the best. And only corruption and graft has placed the BCCI in its position of ascendency. Yet still, they were incapable of purchasing a home Wold Cup.

@@RealFansSports brother Sachin is called god of cricket Because of he scored the most runs in cricket, most 100's in cricket , he is nightmare for all the greatest bowlers even every bowler say Sachin is the best batter &toughest to bowl ,most consistent batter ,he played for India in the age of just 16, 24 years he played cricket, 30-40 century missed by umpires wrong decision In old days no DRS system 80% pitch supports completely for bowler Cricket bat was not like now because now edge of the bat goes for six or four Now pitch is completely batters friendly Now DRS is using He done all those runs& records in that period That' s the greatness of God of cricket
