I think you should definitely react to one of the Top Gear specials, which are really the funniest shows they did. The one's I'd recommend are the Vietnam special from 2008, Botswana (2007), USA (2007), Bolivia (2009), or Burma (2014). These are all very funny and well worth watching, though you need to react to the whole shows and then edit them in your own way. Cheers from the UK.

@ 15 mins - the accent is London. One thing that really struck me when I was in the US was that people who lived next door to each other had different accents, just because of race. Here it is much more regional, a black person from Glasgow will have a Glaswegian accent and you would need a translator. Whole essays could be written on this topic!

here in UK we use both our main is Metric however we still use a lot of imperial units - the UK only switch to metric in the 60s which is why we have kept both and as such our schools (at least to good schools) get taught both

Yeah, we get a perfect mix, as a young 20s person, I can do a good mix of most imperial and metric units. I use miles, metres, inches and centimetres. I'm lucky I got a mix of both from schooling and family etc

The guy at the end who's accent you had trouble with. He's a R&B singer songwriter from North London. So his accent is just that. North London . But mixed with what press and media call urban youth ... It's what they say when they mean 'black kids' but don't want to say it because it's racist, and rightly so. It's a language/accent all of it's own. London is hugely multi-cultural. And the kids obviously pick up sayings and dialects from all corners of the world. Some Jewish kid might hear a cool thing his japanese friend said, some Jamaican girl might have over heard it and thought it was cute which was then heard by her brother and his group of friends who had an Australian guy who is dating a Romanian girl. And everytime it passes along it gets slightly changed because of their home dialect. And before you know it there is a new phrase happening all around just one class at school that starts trending on Twitter. So when someone says "Hey Bruv, dem tings wrapping your dogs up. Dey be sweets. Did um run you paper?" In other words "Hello my friend, those new shoes you are wearing are nice. Were they expensive?"

It's like some idiot on Twitter who says, "Duh, we invented cars because we make a lot of them and because of a man called Ford!" No you didn't. You took concepts from previous designs and made them better. That doesn't mean you invented horseless carriages.

Connor I didn’t think it’s true to say Americans are rude that was wrong, they do strange things like throw our tea into the Boston harbour but I found them very polite. Having said that please redecorate your bedroom, that is a very strange shade of green , it will be terrible if you are hung over. Free advise from the old country.
