I was at this game as a Lions fan, best thing I've ever seen. Still got the vid on my phone of ash kicking that final goal. Crowd was insanely loud.

This just isn’t true 😂 The Scott brothers could play and were great defenders but we’re talking about the greatest team of the modern era. Voss, Black and Akermanis all won Brownlows. Lynch, Brown, Power, Johnson, Michael, Lappin and Leppitsch were their “elite” players

You should watch “the decade that delivered- hawthorn vs Geelong”. It’s a rivalry known as the “Kennett curse” and is one of the best modern day rivalries in the afl

Interesting fact. The coach of geelong is a former great for the club he is coaching against. He was 1 of 2 twin brothers The Scott brothers. Both great tough men of the game.

It was 52 points at half time man . They might have felt that they were still in it but I certainly didn't , by the end I was just screaming " GO , GO,GO " at the teev. Also , their Coach , Chris Scott was a one team player , that team was the Brisbane Lions , so he was probably pissed .

Greation reaction. Hey that's fine not commenting during the clip. Still digesting the sport. Round 13 of 22 rounds. It was a great comeback against a very good side. Geelong (pronounced Gee-long). Ironically Chris Scott was and is the coach of the Cats (Geelong) but was a triple premiership player for the Brisbane Lions in the early 2000's. A tough backman who played international games against Ireland in Gaelic football. Another sport again with football traits using a round ball and a soccer goal . The final 30 seconds here really does show how quickly the ball can be moved. Fast reflexes and these foot passes had to be pin point and they were. So many great games over the years including a drawn grand final (forget year).

Truly amazing comeback, I wish I had watched this game live. Also a bit of Aussie sports news trivia for ya, the Brisbane Lions have been stuck in Melbourne since last Friday night's match because 1 covid case was discovered in Brisbane and Brisbane is now in full lockdown for a few days, This Thursdays match against Collingwood will be played at Marvel stadium in Melbs. All Because of one covid case.

Should react to The Decade That Delivered - Hawthorn vs Geelong. Greatest rivalry of the modern era it was quite exciting to watch and it should give you an insight on what’s to come this Monday as they match up every Easter Monday, the rivalry isn’t exactly what it was before as Hawthorn (my team) isn’t as good as we used to be but the Easter Monday game still packs stadiums.
