You are correct lads. You can only tackle a person in possession of the ball once they kick you are not allowed to tackle. Another thing although they can kick forwards the back pass law still applies. A team mate can chase the ball down but they must be behind the kicker when it is kicked if they are in front of him when he kicks they will be called as off-side and penalised.

I find it funny that Americans have never heard of it. Personally, it's played worldwide and in a lot of European countries. We played it for shits and giggles in high school. My high school had football (soccer) and rugby, and I played Rugby throughout high school. I still play it with my local club against other counties. It's great to end my week with a Sunday morning match.

In Rugby the first thing you are taught is how to tackle, if you can't master it you won't make it far. I've always wondered if the CT is based on how the head rattles inside the helmet when you are tackled in American Football. Just my personal thoughts

You can't tackle or infringe any players without the ball. In football, u can tackle/block/infringe players who u 'think' gonna tackle your boy.... like protecting your team mate frm getting tackled. In rugby.. hell no. U can only provide support for your team mates running with the ball.
