the hair with the cut “forelock” is called a bridle path! it’s to help the bridle from not getting tangled with the mane

weeeeeell actually the breed doesn't naturally have such high tail as you mentioned..... the high tail that is standard in big lick/saddleseat riding is achieved by using abusive techniques,, the tail that they have in game is accurate to their natural tail :3

You are thinking of Tennessee walking horses. That is where the big lick is used. American Saddlebreds are not trained that way. Their head carriage is naturally high. Look up pictures and videos of these horses without anyone riding them, and their heads are always high. Gingering is an abusive method some saddleseat riders do, but the big lick is not something used with American saddlebreds

I honestly have mixed feelings on this horse but I love how they focused the breed to be more western pleasure based instead of saddle seat. I'm personally not a fan of the tails idk I just don't. 😭

I am glad they didnt raise the tail because saddlebred is one of the most abused horse breeds ever and the tails are raised like that because they had been broken. :(
