He's addressing facts, not current propaganda. Britain proposed, before they left, wanted to give 80% of the land and resources to the Palestinians. The Jewish people accepted. The Arabs did not. They did not want and still don't want a two state solution. Then there was the fact the Arabs were going to work with Hitler to kill all the Jews already in Palestine after Europe was conquered. Finally, many, if not most, Arabs that left during the Catastrophe left on the orders and suggestions of the other arab /Muslim governments not because Israel threw them out.

I watched the entire monologue. Where does Maher state that genocide is justified? Nowhere. The point he makes is that Palestinians need to acknowledge one essential fact in order to resolve ongoing conflict and the intense suffering it causes: Israel is never going to be dismantled and Jews will never abandon Israel. No, he is not telling the Palestinian population that them getting cleared off the planet earth is how the history is made Like so many people all around the world, we love them, we care about them, we feel their pain But for this man like many of us he found himself watching a genocide on live television, and felt unbearable experiencing and became his own therapist. That is the only way he can justify to himself what he is watching and make it okay for himself. Another thing, he can tell the audience what ever he wants, no one does his or her research into the history of what he was talking about.
