Randy, I use a drill with a stir attachment when adding grains to my hot water. Its a game changer and no need to stir and stir at the same time. Make my arm feel better the next day!

Great video Randy. I still say that smoke box would be awesome for smoking jerky or cheese lol

Very cool. I see a single malt in my future. I’d really like to barrel it… but I’m out of empty barrels. Maybe I’ll look into the newish 5 gallon Bad motivator barrels. Good stuff.😊👍🥃

Love that you are smoking it yourself. Have done some wheated bourbons with pecan smoked wheat. Always love how they turn out. Yours should be a winner. How long are you soaking your wood chips in the port wine? Salude!
@stillworksandbrewing9 сағат бұрын
hi Mike chips will be soaking about a week in port wine

Just trying to work out what malting is? Do you have to get the grains to sprout before you smoke? Other wise there is no malting? Sorry mate, new at this, gets confusing 🙈🙈🙈

What are the benefits of fermenting off the grain instead of on the grain fermentation?
@scottwilson81572 сағат бұрын
Single malt usually refers to barreling of a spirit run from 1 mash recipe of one distillery.
