American Standard Garbage Disposer 1 1/4hp

This is my review of my recent purchase of an American standard garbage disposer. Should have down and unboxing or better yet an installation video but just didn't think of it. Yes I refer to it as 1 1/2 hp in the video - it is 1 1/4 hp.

would you be able to replace the porwer cord for a longer power cord?

I don't think so as the cord is hardwired to the unit. But you could just use a good quality extension cord.
