American Truck Cummins SCS Cummins iSX reworked for 1.43

Hi,
I did rebuild from scratch the original SCS W900 sound bank. According to the SCS forum and the videos of their recordings in the US, it's an iSX Cummins.
So the sound is now rebuilded and i have adjusted the equalizers settings to have a better and realistic feeling in the interior.
You must disable my megapack to have it working properly with only the W900 by SCS.
It's more a first try of any sound mod for 1.43 than an real release, later i'll add it to my megapack.

this is a really amazing example of the importance of mixing. recording high quality samples is only half the work of making good engine sounds in-game. i bet you could do this for all SCS sounds and make a dramatic difference. thank you for your work!!!

I've been using the Kaptin's engine sounds for many years i think he is hands down the best and to do it for us for free has to say the man has a heart of gold, He's like a fine wine only gets better with age. I thank you from the bottom of heart and keep the bugs off the bumper.

Hi Kapitan. I notice that some 3D engine models in the hood are disappeared in viper's peterbuilt389/379. Like C15 M11, 3406. etc.　ver1.42 with megpack3.6 I think it's maybe not your work but just in case :) and I appreciate all your work.

Just extract the new scs 1.43 beta def base, and go to def/vehicle/truck/name_of_truck/interior. You will find two new files sounds effects.sui, just open them and adjust to your preference.

What's your impression of the update so far? Does it bring more flexibility, or is it rather getting harder to get the sounds right?

This doesn't change the way we do the sounds with Fmod, just we can adjust the filter for the interior of the truck. We can muffle it with more precision and also adjust properly the volume. All these new things can be made by editing a simple .sui file :))

No they work fine, but the interior volume is too loud in 1.43. So we have to adjust the interior volume with the new definitions files that are coming with this update.
