From my understanding is the barrel is easily field strippable and able to be interchanged with different caliber barrels and most likely a different set of belts for different calibers but I have yet to see the design implemented if I had a 3D printer I would do it all myself and turn it into a 30cal and up the fps with a unregulated regulator come on SIG!! Ps it literally says multi caliber on the rifle.

Maybe use the PCP cylinder from the Phoenix Mark 2 Lever Action rifles. As they would just about fit inside the recoil buffer tube of an AR.

They could make a barrel shroud air tank like it would look like a shroud but it would be pressurized you could put the Mcx collapsable stock and a adjustable regulator in the back to do quick changes to FPS all would fit in the gun to make it look identical to a real steel

Canceled an order for this plus accessories about a month ago. Bought a Hatsan Blitz instead. Yeah different price range but in light of what I just saw, I made the right decision. This gun looks nice but it's performance seems to be a bit weak. If 600 plus fps is all it can do, so be it. The co2 version is comparable to this and I have two versions on that. Nice demo. Helped to reaffirm my decision not to purchase.

I just bought the MCX and a hand pump not sure how to use it right but when I put a little air in the tank and tried to screw the tank on the gun it sounds like air is coming out any ideas

Seal replacement kit required I did it on my MPX does not leak on 1100 psi air and Co2 whichever I prefer but power still very low Fps but great looking and fun plinker.

No, paintball gun doesn't typically have enough psi. for Nitrogen you just need a bottle that is safe for Nitrogen and I don't know if that one is...but if you had a nitro bottle attached, it should work.

no it's not. I'd call and send back if you can't tighten.

@@americanairgunner Thank you for clarifying this. I was already complaining about the quality of Sig's airguns, but I think I just got a lemon. I am not able to figure out why is the tank moving around. It seems to tighten properly, but even when fully threaded in, it moves about an eight of an inch to all sides which makes it rattle when moving the gun around. I'll give this gun a second try and see if I have any other manufacturer issues this time. Seems to be a great gun, but QC so far seems to be an issue at Sig. Let's see when the replacement arrives.

I am a huge fan of Sig Sauer Air also. Own a P226, P320, M17, X-Five and MCX .177 co2 ASPs.. So I know that these never come without issues of somesorts. This .22 Virtus was a huge thing back when it was introduced. But I really dunno anymore if this is a new thing or not. This seemed as an unboxing video of something new. But somehow it seemed that as if the UK got the first batch ever manufactured - and then some few US citizens got the leftovers of that first batch. I heard a newer batch (or "issue") would come out this summer - but I also got the info it shoulda been upgraded a bit on the accuracy and especially the power output.. Well, apparently not.. Meh.. Bummer.. Never considered buying an HPA kit for my .177 co2 MCX, until now. My .177 shoots hard enough. Only the fast cooling of the co2 is keeping it down from being badass nowadays. This .22 Virtus could have also been a .177 if asked me. The bigger projectile just somehow seems to keep it's performance down since not shooting much faster than this. The local (around €650) price of the Virtus just seems a bit too high for me. And I also oughta then buy the equipment to fill the airtank. Mostly I am just interested in how this .22 is internally different from the old .177 co2 model. The co2 model has become very familiar to me thru the years.. That box of the co2 MCX that briefly was shown.. A bit different design than what I got back in the days. I do have heard about small internal changes in those too. Oughta buy myself another one of those someday. Only about €289 - and I got the needed stuff for that one already...

Your uncomfortable way to introduce this gun tells a lot : even with its agressive look (apart the bottle) 12 fps makes it a poor backyard plinking toy. For the price... ?! I found the Hatsan invader auto a better solution in PCP auto airgun needs for almost the same price. And did'nt wait 2 years for it.

Looks like a fun air rifle Rossi. Mooore power for sure but the rifle looks good. I think you need to take a week long family trip to a neighboring state with no fear restrictions. Have your production team meet up and spend one of the days just filming Air rifles. Go have some fun before "Red Dawn" comes to CA, LOL!!!!

Bigger caliber!!! Please bigger caliber!!! Again bigger caliber!!! Just so you don’t forget: bigger caliber!!! At least .35 but ideal .50. Same mag, same design, same gun. The “ Walgreens world” would be full auto but semi auto I’m happy enought. Sig should make a line of PCP air guns for home defense, for people that can’t have fire arm. After those anarchistic protester groups saying they will come to the suburbs, people would not mind paying $500-$800 for a gun like that.

.50 ? You can get a Milsig M17A2 2019 version(if you can still find any) or the new M5. Load it with Grimburg's less lethal rounds (.68) and you can have 32 joules or more out of it. For the AR style look, the T15 is another good choice, being a 1-to-1 replica. Milsig's are all full auto, out of the box, while the T15 is a semi-only rifle (can be modded to full-auto). People often forget that paintball markers are pneumatic weapons too. Personally though, I really like smaller calibers.The .22 is the best compromise. Less air resistance (drag and friction), faster bullet, better range. Only the .356 can beat it, but they're trying to sell these all over the world without too many restrictions. A bigger cal would mean less units sold. You can buy this MCX Virtus in many countries without restrictions, even in Europe, for example. Anything above 22/24 joules would keep them out of the "free" market.

Nice, but ehh I'm never getting a AR style airgun. I kinda don't want to be shooting in the backyard and have s brush in with the law. I just don't know I have a Gamo Mach 1 with a UTG scope which can indeed outshoot an ASP 20 and a Beretta 92A1 umerex which I've done a lot to. But it really looks fun but my family won't let it in the house even if I'm in my mid 20s
