This was a made for television event. Majors typically do not have loud cheering sections. You should come to one of our 30+ Majors around the country and experience it. You will probably have fun if you enjoy cornhole!

The cheering during the game is trashy. Celebrate after the game/match is over. It should be more like Tennis and respect both throwers. It makes zero sense in such a finesse sport to interfere verbally (with excessive noise) while someone is attempting to make a perfect or near-perfect shot that requires such concentration. These shooters work hard to get to such a high professional level...

I am not a fan of the cheering section during a person's throw. I understand a short outburst after a big shot but that was too much. I also thought that the bags provided hindered the players ability to push. They looked extremely sticky. I wish your organization the best of luck. I think competition is great for both the ACL and ACO. I would love to see this match with the players choosing their own bags, I think the ppr would be much higher

I agree about the bags....the other BYOB tournaments I have watched had some amazing shots with bags almost acting against the laws of physics lol. But everyone had the same disadvantage and advantage so that adds a different concept to things....but without BYOB they probably are losing out on some bag sponsorships and stamp fees.

Kat has quickly become one of the best commentators in the sport with her thorough knowledge of the game and ability to break it down for the viewer at home in a way that's easy to understand. She is also a newly wed bride to the Kingslayer and as we could see, it's naturally difficult for someone who loves somebody else THAT MUCH not to be biased. We appreciate the way you phrased your comment and included that you understood. You also made a suggestion that is quite fair and didn't lessen the overall value Kat brings to the game. These are the types of comments that we appreciate the most because we are constantly pushing to find ways to improve. When we improve the game gets better and our competition gets a new section of their blueprint on what to do next and everybody wins. @GWagon, you rock!

It’s firs to 21 or over. Bust is only for backyard play. It makes no sense in tournament play. Like you said toss the bag off, that should not be something a player does purposely for an advantage. (In MOST circumstances)

Hurt's swing is just too long. It allows for more variables and more of a chance to get something wrong. He takes it back very far on the backswing and that's totally unnecesary. It makes for more opportunities to mess up. Simplify and shorten your swing if you want it to be repeatable and dependable.

One on the board =1 point unless matched by the opponent's bag. If both sides is on the board equally they cancel out. A bag in the hole is 3 points unless matched by the opponent. So example (red throws one in the hole and blue throws one and it sticks on the board and didn't go in, red has two points because the blue that's on the board canceled one of the 3 points out.) Makes sense?

Thank you for your opinion and we would like to offer that if you look at the comments on this video as well as many of the other videos we state and reiterate that our viewers' comments and opinions do matter. Just because we argue for our side of the debate doesn't mean we don't listen, but it also doesn't mean we're going to change just because of a few opinions either. There have been a few times, especially recently where the comments were spot on and we had to make a change and everybody is better for it. The biggest issue viewers had with this tournament was the bag selection, but if you are going to have a chance at $20k then you better be better than good. That means that maybe you have to get uncomfortable and use different bags. We don't charge our pros $1k a year just for membership, but if we do and use that to start paying the purses like others, then of course we would listen. In fact, back in Season 13 the players voiced their opinion to change to a multiple bag choice system at Majors and then the following season we changed it to BYOB because that is what the players wanted. So maybe your assertion was completely wrong because there is no basis of fact to back it up. Plus we paid tens of thousands of dollars to hold this tournament, we did invent professional cornhole, the ACL has copied almost everything we did so it's hard to be better than someone trying to be just like you, and in this particular situation, if we believe we are right then we are right because we created this and it's like telling a parent they made their baby wrong.
